we stayed at the house for 8 days it was our first stay in the Berkshires. the house is 20 minutes from everything. the house itself was very roomy and fully complely prepared in for guests. the owner had anticipated out every need.
the owner understood we were apartment dwellers and kindly took extra time to explain how a house works. we had a great time in the area and in the house itself. i would recommend this house to any visitor.

We stayed here for a week in May with my husband, daughter, son-in-law and their 2 small children.
What a great time -
Spacious and comfy house, close to all kinds of interesting places -- shopping, movies, theater, etc..
And outdoor water, sand and slide equipment just off the back deck so we could watch the little ones at play.
We found everything e needed for cooking and serving.
Everything worked well and was really clean!!!
Recommended for families and couples, with or without children -- all ages.

Sparkling, spotless, spacious and splendid

Our family (2 children, 2 parents, 2 grandparents) greatly enjoyed our stay at this wonderfully spacious and well-equipped house. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable family week. The owners were gracious and welcoming and we all felt very comfortable there. It is an excellent base for exploring the area. We especially liked the position - quiet and rural and yet within walking distance of Great Barrington's best (and healthiest) grocery store ('Guidos') and easy driving distance to some great walks, e.g. Monument Mountain.

Great home and location

My family stayed at this home for 10 days in June 2010. It was everything it promised to be and more. The house is comfortable and modern. The dining/living room is was perfect for the 7 of us, as was the TV den. The location could not be better-- on a very quiet road just minutes from Great Barrington -- it is the best of all worlds. The photos don't show how nice the property itself is, set back from the road and on a hill. It was a great experience for us.
