“Simply AWESOME!”

I started by saying AWESOME because it is the only word I can pick to describe the experience we had with Sandy. She was so professional and helped each step of the way with planning our trip.

This was our 20th wedding anniversary trip with our two children. We wanted to visit the big island of Hawaii. We had heard of how this was the island that offered the most diversity for families. The beauty is something to behold, and the venues and interest abound.

The townhouse is centrally located and not too far from the airport of beaches. We surfed, visited the volcano, went to 7 different beaches, and visited the lava tubes. We also were able to visit the rain forest, and beach combed to our hearts content.

Sandy’s home was our home away from homes. It was well equipped and really made feel relaxed. We cooked daily and washed clothes as needed. The staff helped at every turn.

Sandy provided advice when asked and the townhouse had tour guide books available on the coffee table.

Stayed July 2010, traveled with family

Hi Sandy,

Just wanted to let you know that my husband and I had a great time on the Big Island and your condo was lovely and a great location, (including being close enough to the tsunami evacuation site) :-)

We did have our anniversary dinner at the Kona Inn (wonderful!) and had dinner the last night at Sam Choy's (also wonderful)! Thanks so much for the recommendations. We got lots of stuff off our list, but still have much to do and explore so we hope to be back soon. If so, I'll be sure to contact you for availability.

Townhouse # 59 in Keauhou Kona Surf and Racket Club was just delightful and extremely clean. Being two seconds from the pool which was a highlight for my two boys especially after getting back from a busy day of exploration. The home was appointed nicely and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. We hated to leave but enjoyed out stay tremendously.

We sure had a great time in Kona, thanks to you and your townhouse (#59). It was perfect! I hope we left as you asked in the check list. There was nothing that we felt you need to add to the kitchen accessories, you had about everything we needed.

You might get an email or phone call for a person named Dick E., he is my father in law.
He has stayed several times in the complex. Anyway, he is a delightful gentleman and I would highly recommend him as a client. We hope to lease one of your places in the future.

Townhouse 59 is a nice vacation rental. The owner, Sandy Kumar, is VERY helpful and we had no problems with the unit while there for six weeks.

Management/Cleaning - Jeri - was super too.

The townhouse, which was renovated in 2006, is well equipped with name brand appliances and the owner has not stinted on anything. The kitchen had lots of dishes and the little extras such as beach equipment make life easier. The townhouse was spotless. The condo itself is in a lovely location view wise and is handy to everything. We have enjoyed the lanai and the pool. The tennis pro gave lessons. The complex is in a great location and people are friendly. And it is nice and quiet.

I enjoy good art and the watercolors chosen from a local artist add to the feeling that the condo is well furnished. 

Also, the complex is central to some good sightseeing.

I would recommend this townhouse unhesitatingly. It was a lovely introduction to Hawaii for us.

"Beautiful townhouse no. 59” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort

My boyfriend and I stayed at townhouse 59 at the beginning of April and we would recommend it to anyone. As a couple we had ample space(there are 2 bedrooms) and it was ideally located not far from town and a walk to the best snorkelling on the west side of the island where we swam daily with huge turtles! The accomodation is bright,spacious,clean and has absolutely everything one would need on holiday. The supermarket is a short scenic drive up the hill(you could walk too but i loved my convertible rental!)
Thumbs up to Sandy for having such wonderful accomodation at such a reasonable price.

“Townhouse #59” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort

We stayed at Townhouse #59 from June 7-13, 2007. The townhouse has been recently renovated, has tile floors throughout and is kept very clean. We enjoyed the quiet location south of Kona yet close to grocery store, movie theatre and restaurants in the shopping center nearby. It was VERY nice to have washer/dryer for those everyday wet bathing suits (Kahalu'u x 2 just 1/8 mi away, Hapuna Beach, Sea Paradise to Kealakekua Bay, Two Step, the condo's pool).

I especially enjoyed walking just 50 feet from the lanai to the oceanfront wall for a great view of the sunset. For the price of this townhouse, it can't be beat.

"Fantastic find” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort

We stayed at Condo #59 on our 12 day vacation to Kona Hawaii.

What a GREAT FIND. This is an end unit, and very quiet. It is 60 steps to the large pool. The beaches are great beaches a short drive away. The turtles swim with you. The snorkeling and boarding is amazing. The condo is clean,light bright and is tastefully furnished. Very comfortable. There is internet access as well as 2 TV's. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils. Everything you will need. A dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer. This came in handy after the many trips to the pool daily. One good size master bedroom with a very large closet. A good size 2nd bedroom. Fans in every room.
The location is very good. 3 minutes by car is grocery shopping,longs and much more. It is out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Kona and it just a short ride in.
I researched for months before settling on this one.

After speaking with and e-mailing the owner several times it was clear that it is very important for them to them to be able to share there little part of paradise with others and to help make their vacation special. They offer a huge amount of information if you desire. In this day and age it is very unusual to find people who actually care.

I will eagerly pass my wonderful experience on and on.
