After reading the brilliant reviews for this apartment we were expecting a spotlessly clean tidy apartment. However we were disappointed, there were empty water bottles lying around, the extractor fan over the cooker reeked of stale grease, lightbulbs had not been replaced in the bathrooms and the extractor in the shower room was not working. The bed sheets had seen better days and we were left short of one pillowcase at the midweek change of linen, the covers over the sofas were sweaty and the sunbed mattresses were the same. No airconditioning! must be stifling in high season.
The views are spectacular and there are some decent restaurants in the area.
It is a lovely apartment but needs some updating, we felt we paid over the odds.

Owner's Response: Obviously we were disappointed and perplexed to receive this review. The water bottles were left there for guests to use at the communal water dispenser located poolside. This was done in response to previous guests suggestion. The covers for the settee were new so really cant explain what was meant by a 'sweaty' smell.
The booking was for 2 persons (a couple) but we made up both the double bed and one single bed in the second bedroom. This is how we have always prepared beds but apparently these guests wanted all of the beds made up. The procedure we have now adopted is to always ask in advance how many beds to prepare.
The apartment is not advertised as having air-con so perhaps a little unfair to complain. It does have ceiling fans in bedrooms and lounge and being right on the sea front and with patio doors all round we find there is always a pleasant breeze even in high summer.
There were a few light bulbs that had blown-all have now been replaced. The cleaners have also been instructed to inspect the linen and any sheets showing signs of wear will be replaced. Additionally the extractor in the kitchen has had a thorough clean. The feedback from our cleaners was that it was not as bad as was described. It is an extractor and sited right above the hob will obviously pick up the kitchen smell.

Thank you for letting us use your lovely apartment. We found the location very relaxing. Close to restaurants and a supermarket just over the road from the apartment.
The apartment was spotless and a credit to your staff. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the boats and just listen to the sea

Have just returned from a lovely Easter break in this beautiful apartment. It's position is excellent with really lovely views both during the daytime and at night. The balcony is great as it gets the sun all day - we were very lazy some days and just relaxed on the balcony all day. It's very quiet with no noisy guests but the nightlife of the area is just a few minutes walk. San Blas is only a 15 min easy walk where there are lots more bars and restaurants if you fancy a change.
Easter weather was very good - we did have a day of rain but most of the time it was lovely warm sunshine in the mid 20s.
We have been to this area several times but this was definitely the best apartment that we have stayed in.

A stunning apartment

My family were delighted with the apartment, the location and the wonderful views. Everything was clean and just as described.The restaurants and bars were many and varied. We used both the local taxi and bus services without any problems and visited many places on foot. All in all a relaxed and very happy holiday.

We just got back from an 11 night stay in the 2 bed apartment, and didnt want to leave from the moment we walked through the door!!!
Clean, modern, secure, and stunning views from the terrace. Only down point we have is that the small pool was out of use at this time, not sure why, but looked very nice for my youngest who wont go in the big pool!!
Very quiet location, which is exactly what we wanted, however not to far from resturants shops etc..., and a nice 20 mins walk to San Blas, which has a larger amount of shops, resturants and a supermarket which is 'extremely' cheaper than the small supermarket across from apartment. We found an amazing restaurant on the way to San Blas (going along the road way, not sea front) called Big Als, good, fresh well presented food, and brilliant friendly service.
All in all, we have had the best holiday ever!!

This is a stunning apartment in a great complex. Being so close to the sea you can hear the waves and watch the sunrise over the sea, all from the balcony. Fantastic!

We had 10 days in the 2 bed apt and loved it. The apt is extremely well maintained with modern layout and equipment. Sheets and towels were changed mid-way through our stay. The balcony gets the sun all day. It's quiet and relaxing, with great views of the sea and marina. Lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance. We had absolutely no issues. We'd highly recommend this apt and would love to book again !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the apartment is clean and spacious and is well furnished and has everything you could need. The views are lovely and the apartment is in a great location. Near the airport, next to the sea and there are many restaurants and supermarkets within a few minutes walk. We can highly recommend the Japanese restaurant (Teppan Yaki) for a great meal and a great night out. The owner provided great service and we were very happy with all the arrangements. The nearest golf course is approximately 20 minutes walk away so if you are carrying your own clubs you would either need a hire car or get a taxi which was approximately 5 Euros each way in Jan 09.
