Awesome Experience

This place was amazing. It is clean and fully furnished including a full kitchen, beach supplies/toys and beach towels, etc. There are many windows to let in the light and sea breeze. The court yard is beautiful and even has a BBQ grill for use. The walk to the beach is short and enjoyable. Richard, the owner, is very nice and accommodating. Our family will definitely be back again in the future.

This is a great little house with nice touches - like the skylights that flood the place with light. A short walk to the beach, it could hardly be better placed. Richard, the owner, is a great host - cheerful and ready to make your visit better in any way possible. Look forward to a return visit.

We stayed for a week, and the proximity to the beach was perfect. The kitchen was nice size and living room and bedrooms were cozy. The owner, Richard was very helpful and always got right back to me.

Amazingly perfect for our family

My family added 1 this year and we decided to do a little "babymoon" and enjoy the Fair while it was in town. We were amazed first at the price because it seemed like a great place but was a bit below everyone else (and the amazing owner didn't have a bunch of hidden "cleaning" or "admin" fees as add-on's which brings the cost up for renters). When we got there we were blown away. Beautiful location, very clean...Richard (the owner) even made accommodations to let us in a little early to allow our baby to get his nap. We've been using VRBO for years to travel around the states and Europe and I would say with 100% this was an excellent experience.
To add to an already good things, three months later owner emails us on a potential lost item. Very considerate and much appreciated!!!

Perfect vacation at the beach

This rental was clean and comfortable and very spacious for myself and my daughter for our May vacation at the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and clean, and the furniture was comfortable. We especially liked the bright light from the skylights and access to the shower from outdoors. The on-site owner was helpful and accommodating.
The location was perfect, even without a car. The beach is a short block and half away. There is a trail from the end of the street, along the lagoon, to a shopping center with a big grocery store -- about 25 minutes on foot. You can walk to the town center in about 15 minutes along the beach or on the road. One day I walked all the way to Torrey Pines Reserve along the beach. There are lots of interesting restaurants in town, but when in California, nothing beats fresh fresh fruit and veggies from the farmer's market (Saturday afternoon) and big, fresh artichokes cooked to perfection in your own kitchen.

Park City girls hit the beach.

Could not have been more perfect! We loved everything about our little 3 day vacation, from morning walks on the beach, to walking to the Brigantine for fish tacos, 5 minute drive to Showpark, walking to Jakes for dinner, and walking into town to shop. Loved being so close to walk to town, but far enough away to avoid it. Laughed every time I passed Dog Beach. The cottage had everything we could have wanted, and the host could not have been more accommodating. Thanks, Richard! We've already checked into coming back - and would book right now if I could bring my very well behaved Golden Retriever, who I'm sure would get along famously with your cute dog. Thanks again, and hope to see you soon.

This was a terrific place to stay! Super close to the beach with easy access to everything, yet out of the busiest traffic. This charming and relaxing home made for an even more relaxed vacation. Plus a terrific host. Very highly recommended!

Perfect beach house

We lived in San Diego for many years, so we kinow the area very well. If you are looking for a perfect little beach house, this is it. The famous Del Mar beach is just a block and a half away. The house is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need. The high def TVs get every channel under the sun. The cute little patio is perfect for an outdoor picnic. And best of all, the price is right! We think it's the best value in Del Mar.
