great cabin

We just celebrated our 31 anniversary in the cabin for a 3 night get away. It was perfect. Clean, quiet, and simple. Nice furnishings, and you are at the top of a mountain with only one other cabin.

close enough to blue ridge to enjoy some time seeking out the best ice cream coffee shop, and ride the train for an afternoon.
I would go again and I would recommend it as well

My wife and I stayed at this cabin just this past weekend and what a great place to get away from everything. The cabin is clean and well stocked with all the necessities. The views are exquisite. There are a number of games for the family to play as well as a fire pit and hot tub that my wife and I found very enjoyable. Wireless internet is available, satellite tv and a nice collection of movies, too. It is in a nice secluded location but still within driving distance to many attractions. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the perfect get away.

My husband and I went to this cabin for our 1st weekend away together since our son was born 10 months ago. It was so nice, clean, and cozy. It has the feel of a rustic log cabin but with all the modern conviences. The best part is the double decks with a beautiful view of the mountains. One deck has a very new, clean hot tub and the other one a porch swing. Perfect place to drink your morning coffee or sip your evening cocktail. This cabin is very well taken care of and has everything from plenty of fresh linens to games and interesting reads. It has a firepit outside perfect for roasting marshmellows or having a bonfire. The owner is super friendly and has compiled a very handy book inside the cabin for things to do and see nearby. We love this cabin and WILL be going back!

A couple hours from Atlanta but felt like a world away. The cabin is beautiful with everything that you need without ever leaving. Our stay was a week long and we never left the cabin. The kitchen is the best stocked rental I've ever stayed at. We cooked every meal at the cabin and ate while looking out at a wonderful view of the Blueridge. Our little french bulldog felt right at home with us. I will go back to this cabin. Although we never left there is a ton of activities all around the area for any taste.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this wonderful cabin retreat, and we were extremely happy with everything. This is truly a great place to just get away from it all, with all the comforts of home. The owners took great care to provide the renters with a lot of helpful hints on the area, which we found to be a life-saver. The cabin was extremely clean and well kept, with lots of room. You won't need to bring anything extra with you - the owners have thought of it all. We really appreciated the way the owners kept us informed throughout the entire rental process, even up to the immediate follow-up email the day after we returned. Great customer service! We'd definitely rent from them again!

We visit the Blue Ridge and Blairsville area at least twice a year now and without exception this is the nicest cabin and view that we have ever been at. We have 4 children and they had a blast. My wife and I could sit on the porch and enjoy the wonderful view while also watching the kids play in the front yard area. They loved the fire pit in the evenings roasting marshmallows. The cabin is clean and fully stocked with everything that we needed. This cabin is located in a great area that is convenient to whatever you could possibly want to do (hiking, waterfalls, canoeing, horseback riding, shopping, etc). The owners are great and always available. I have already recommended this to some of my friends that visit the mountains.

My husband,grandaughter and I spent 7 nights in this cabin and had a WONDERFUL time!!! The views were amazing and it was very private and quiet. Dan and Laurie were always very quick to respond to any questions that we had. We have stayed at other cabins, but this one was completely stocked for anything that you could possibly need. It was great for kids, too, with plenty of movies, toys, monitor, and even a princess dress!!!!! We had fun just exploring the area, and also just staying in, enjoying the hot tub and views. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to escape the city and get out to a "little piece of heaven" in the mountains.

We go to the north Georgia mountains each year and stay in a different cabin. No more! We have found the cabin we will return to every time.
The views at Alta Vista are miraculous. We had to pinch ourselves every morning upon awakening because we could not believe how fortunate we were to be in such an amazing place.
The cabin is gorgeous...so much more than we were expecting.
The owners go out of their way to provide their guests with all the comforts of home.
The propery is very secluded in the woods over-looking the mountains, yet just a short drive to the quaint towns for dining and entertainment.
We would recommend this property to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat and relaxing vacation.
