Wolfeboro Cottage

Moloney Brooklyn
Review Submitted: August 30, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
An excellent value -- very comfortable, clean and true to the description. Cottage is fully stocked with everything you might need right down to doggie bed, ball, bowls & bisquits. Property is spacious and near to Crescent Lake and town of Wolfeboro where you can walk around, eat or shop at the very quaint stores. Location is driving distance to Weirs Beach, Castle in the Clouds, hiking trails, fishing, boat rides, swimming, dining etc. A great place to enjoy peace, quiet and plenty of family activities. Highly Recommend!!

We didn't want to leave, and neither did our pup!

The cottage, nestled up to woods in Fall's final colors, was both idyllic and ideal. We found it romantic. relaxing, and the perfect place for entertaining friends and family.

A nicely furnished–clean, clean, clean–home with everything for a great getaway: a well equipped kitchen for whipping up flapjacks or casual dinners; a sunny porch that doubles nicely as a home office, comfy beds dressed in cozy layers; large bath with vintage bathtub and separate shower; washer and dryer, and all the little things that make this cottage so special.

Note to Workaholics: the free WiFi keeps you well connected so you can really enjoy this blissful retreat.

Thank you for opening your cottage to us Julie. We will cherish our memories of this stay forever and a day.

Visitors from Old England to New England

Shufflers England
Review Submitted: October 29, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
Extremely comfortable accommodation and extremeley helpful owner who made our stay most enjoyable. We were a party of 4 leaf peepers from England and the property is an ideal location to see the fall colours with plenty of walks and activities in the area as well as access to the Maine coastline approx 1 hour away. Only minor problem is the lack of wardrobe space in the upstairs bedroom but this didn't inconvenience me too much, especially as i was in the downstairs bedroom with loads of space!!
Golf at Wolfeboro is excellent and very reasonably priced.

Great 4th of July vacation

psl300 Florida
Review Submitted: July 11, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Our stay at the cottage was wonderful! We are a family of 5 (including an 11 month old baby) and we were so comfortable in the cottage. The beds were so comfortable, and my girls loved their room upstairs! We were welcomed with a plate of cookies on our arrival and the coziness of the house was also very welcoming from the minute we walked through the door. The shower was nice, also, great water pressure (which is important to me)!!!! While grilling out one night, we ran out of propane and the owner drove us up another tank within 5 minutes. The walking trail is very relaxing, and close to the cottage, and you can walk into town by the lake, close to the shops and restaurants. I have nothing bad to say about this place, it was very cozy, comfortable, and a wonderful, relaxing, stay for our family.

A Most Savored Babymoon Vacation

Review Submitted: July 7, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We are a family of 4, soon to be 5...husband, pregnant wife and 2 pups. I was due about a month from the time we stayed at this perfect cottage. The vacation could not have come at a better time.

With a beautiful, large back yard and the bike path steps away from the house, the dogs had plenty of room to play and feel free. The bike path was breathtaking everyday with views of Crystal Lake and Lake Wentworth, and a public beach about a 15 minute walk. In the opposite direction is a 15 minute walk into the center of town.

The cottage itself was perfect in every way. Beautifully decorated, spacious, very private and with every amenity you could ever imagine needing. Good taste was around every corner. The beds, the kitchen, the bath, the back yard and the deck out back with a grill...loved it all...especially the delicious cookies that were thoughtfully baked for our arrival.

The town of Wolfeboro is just a mile down the road with 2 grocery stores, liquor store, great ice cream (Bailey's Bubble) and many awesome restaurants (we loved The Wolfetrap..esp the fried oysters there).

It was the kind of place you could do everything or nothing everyday and feel good either way. We put two 1,000 piece puzzles together (which we've never done) and made time everyday to do some exploring in nature.

It was such a memorable stay and we hope to return next summer as a family of 5 :o).

Wolfeboro Cottage

Review Submitted: January 14, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
The cottage is adorable, clean, well-maintained, with everything possibly needed to make our stay convenient and enjoyable. The owner had baked fresh brownies, decorated for the holidays, and left us a friendly note. Our dogs loved the large yard and path in the woods. Wolfeboro is a cute lakeside community with nice shops and good restaurants. I would recommend this property for any season of the year!

A cozy little getaway...

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The cottage was immaculate, nicely decorated and cozy. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the bedroom was very comfortable. The owners have thoughtfully provided all of the amenities you need in order to feel right at home. We were even greeted with a platter of delicious cookies that the owner had made for us (as well as a jar full of dog biscuits for our dog)! We had a fantastic, relaxing time and would rent this cottage again in a heartbeat!

The cottage had everything to make a perfect vacation. The owners are accessible and extremely helpful. With all that the cottage provides, it is a transparent move from your own home.

Our dog was in heaven with the biscuits, toys, & bed,
while my husband finished off the brownies provided!

Quiet end of street, yet easy walk to town, the beach, etc.

Returning this moth to enjoy the leaves & the other amentities of wolfeboro & the cottage.

A Perfect Getaway

Review Submitted: September 24, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We had a really wonderful time here! The cottage has everything you could think of, is very quiet, and very nicely furnished. Bedroom upstairs was really adorable! With the bike/walking trail just down the hill and across the street, we had a great time walking the dog down to Wolfeboro and getting breakfast outside. I'd definitely rent this place again!
Owner's Response: We're so glad you enjoyed your time at the cottage! It pleases us when guests enjoy the cottage, the location and Wolfeboro.
