Cozy, comfy cabin retreat.

We have stayed at Camp Garoga two times; once in November and again this past June. The decor is country, quaint, and cozy with a dash of rustic charm. Upon your arrival you are greeted with the wonderful scent of lit candles, bear prints or leaves ingraved in the wood floors, and a variety of teas, flavored coffees and biscotti in a basket on the kichen counter.
The cabin is very clean, well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen (bring your own food, of course) and a million towels in the bathroom! The firepit is supplied with all the wood you need and the trails thru the woods are great fun.
The cabin is centrally located to just about anything you want to do. We like antiquing and were very happy with all the shops, big and small, in the area and returned with great finds. We reccommend The Dolgeville Mill in Dolgeville, Stone Mill of Little Falls, Little Falls Antique Center, and The Red Barn in Northville.
Chris and Dan are super! They were so accommodating. They live across the street, so you are not dealing with an "absent landlord". If you need anything they encourage you to call.
We had a great vacation both times we stayed. We had snow in November and sunshine in June. We would highly reccommend this cabin to all our friends and family.
Owner's Response: We are always pleased to hear back from guests who have stayed at Camp Garoga. It is our pleasure to provide every guest with a cabin and experience that meets your expectations. The guests who choose to return are especially welcomed. We have made a lot of friends over the past three years since Camp Garoga opened, and look forward to making many more in the years to come.
