The rental photos could not capture the true beauty of the surrounding views. The house itself was warm and welcoming offering more than we anticipated.

A Peaceful Retreat with a Breathtaking View

Review Submitted: July 15, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We recently returned from a thoroughly relaxing four days at the Willow house. The house had everything we were looking for... a big deck, amazing views and a good-sized kitchen. Close proximity to Woodstock and a very impressive collection of DVDs kept our teenagers happy too.

Unforgettable Memorial Weekend!

Jubie Midwest
Review Submitted: May 30, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
We were looking for a quiet weekend in the mountains and the home in Willow was PERFECT! My husband and I, our son and his girlfriend who live in Brooklyn, our daughter who lives in Chicago, and our Golden retriever met at the house. Our daughter flew into Albany and said it was an easy drive. When we walked in and saw the skylights in the kitchen and living room, we were amazed. We loved the screened in porch and the dining area served as our game room. We ate some meals outside on the deck. The kitchen was a dream to work in--the owners have stocked it with just about anything you can think of. We rented a pontoon boat and canoe to go on the Hudson river. We followed one of the guide books to explore the Catskills. The fresh mountain air is INCREDIBLE! If we had run into bad weather, there were movies and books galore and the weekend would have taken another direction. If you have any questions, the owners are very helpful in assisting you. They have added many touches that make you feel welcome. We look forward to our next visit. Our golden retriever almost refused to get in the van to come home! We will be laughing about our fun weekend for years to come.

Best House in Woodstock

Pete & Barb Brooklyn
Review Submitted: April 14, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
My husband, 12-year-old son and I spent a relaxing weekend at this marvelous house and we all wished we could stay longer. Drinking my coffee while gazing at the peaceful, tree covered mountains out the living room window was paradise for me. My son enjoyed the zillions of movies available as well as the vast CD collection. And the pancakes in Phoenicia ranked a first place on our "Best Flapjacks" list. Superbly maintained, lovingly decorated while being infinitely welcoming this is the house to rent for a getaway in the Catskills.

My Fiancee and I went to the house looking for nice secluded location to rest, relax and take a break from the city. It was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful mountain views and total seclusion. They also had a great music and movie collection. Highly recommended!!

Love It

This was our second year of using the (Willow) house. Its up in the mountains with a magnificent view. Any direction you go or look is an adventure. From the flea market in town to the farm with the horses down the road - what's not to love? It is peacefull and yet exciting. Don't forget to take a hike down to the creek. Love the privacy. Cant wait till next year. Mike & Carol

Wonderful Weekend

Review Submitted: October 7, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
The house in Willow was exactly as described....
a lovely comfortable spacious getaway in the mountains. Extremely clean and well maintained. My grown up children and I spent the weekend there to celebrate my 60th birthday. It was perfect! The view of the fall foliage from the back yard was magnificent, and the walks in the woods and up the country road to a local horse farm.... it was all very idyllic. Relaxing in the mountains at the same time as a quick and scenic drive into Woodstock for fabulous dining and gallery hopping.
Eating in was a pleasure with the well organized kitchen, dining areas, barbecue, and views. Sleeping arrangements very comfortable. The owners did a great job informing us of everything we needed. A perfect little getaway!

Willow rental

N&B Somerville, Ma
Review Submitted: September 28, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Willow. The description of the home was quite accurate. The Willow house has an amazing view. The kitchen is well equipped and the grounds are manicured very nicely. Excellent location - close to fly fishing streams, Woodstock, some fine farmstands, many artists and some good hiking. I would recommend this home for couples, friends and families.
