Loved this house for our weekend away. 10-15 minute walk to town and the ferry. The house is so lovely, very spacious. Large dining room table great for games, and large/long kitchen. The backyard is a great space with a nice sitting area on the patio, a grill, and outdoor shower. 3 bedrooms are done really well, plenty of room for 6 of us to enjoy the weekend. We loved staying there!

Very nice in town house, walk to town, super market easy. Very clean and well kept up. Long kitchen with everything you need. Very big dinner room to entertain. No lock on side ally gate, problem with children home alone or anyone walking into your back yard. New house constuction in back of house from sun up to sun set, should be completed by 2013.
Owner's Response: The backyard is fenced in and very safe for children. The gate door can be shut closed and locked easily with a pad lock if you wish to. There is no side ally. There is a property next door and a fence, trees and privet separate us. Most all of this is seen by reviewing the pictures posted on line of the back yard. New home is already up and work is on inside. No comments all summer from any issues or complaints about this at all. Please contact owner with any questions or concerns...I am happy to help and want you to enjoy your stay at Moonstruck!!

Great house on Nantucket!!

This was the perfect house for us to rent on Nantucket. I truly felt "Moonstruck". This house is adorable and roomy enough for my family of 4.We spent a week in the house and didn't get on each others nerves. There are 3 nice bedrooms, with very comfortable mattresses. I slept wonderfully. There is a large bathroom with modern fixtures and a large kitchen with all the conveniences. The washer and dryer downstairs, look brand new. THere is even a full size dining room with plenty of room to seat 8. I particularly enjoyed the private back yard. I would go out there in the evening and enjoy the peacefulness and quiet. There also was a hammock.There is an outdoor shower for when you return from the great beaches. The rate was reasonable,particularly after we looked around at other prices of rental houses. I think anyone renting this house would be pleasantly surprised!!! It was homey,yet lived in and felt comfortable.My sister-in-law who lives in Nantucket came by and loved the house!!! THe owner was accommidating when I needed to add in another night at the last minute!!! We would definitely rent "Moonstruck" again.
