ISLA VERDE BEACH:

Pull up a chair and umbrella, because Isla Verde is one beautiful beach. All the locals know the best place to go around the San Juan area is Isla Verde. It's a majestic, 200 feet wide strip of that genuine light tan sand and surf that is so gentle, you'll say you've found paradise. People who want to enjoy water sports, casinos, nightclubs and good restaurants tend to stay near the El San Juan Resort & Casino area. That's where the amenities are.

Sit for a little and you'll see people enjoying kayaks and jet-skis. This beach beats most for enjoyable swimming with nice wave action and the not too big surf.

When you're hungry, you'll find Isla Verde Avenue full of restaurants. Take a bike ride down Piñones, and eat some deep fried cod fish batter (bacalaitos) or beef filled plantain batter (alcapurrias) - all while gazing at some of the most spectacular ocean views you will see.

ESJ Towers is a Condo Hotel and the only property in Isla Verde where short-term rentals for condo units are guaranteed. Basically, all the Residential Buildings in San Juan have formally done away with rentals for less than a 6-month period. Although you may find some management companies and condo owners that continue to rent these apartments short-term, you could face problems that may affect your vacations. Thus, we strongly recommend that you stay in the only property, which is intended for Short Term rentals and therefore provides numerous services (e.g., Room Service, Concierge, 24hr Front Desk) and amenities (e.g., Business Center, Cocktail Lounge, Pool Tables, Gym, Olympic Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi) of a hospitality property at very economical rates.

My wife and I stayed at this apartment during our vacation to Puerto Rico. We had such a great experience, we would definitely consider staying there and referring some friends and family to this very comfortable "home away from home". The owner was very kind and helpful and his hospitality was beyond comforting. He made our vacation that much more enjoyable. See for yourself, the price is superb for the location of the property, which is beachfronte and walking distance from anything. Thumbs up all the way!!!

My husband and I had never visited San Juan and were a little apprehensive about choosing a property on our own without knowing the area. The condo at ESJ seemed like a great value for the money. Once we arrived in San Juan at the property, we found the accommodations to be wonderful, clean, and all staff members we met were just fantastic. Everything was in walking distance and the beach access was close and easy. We had not one single disappointment to report. I want to think everyone at ESJ for making our stay so enjoyable.. Thanks for a great vacation!

Recommended for: Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

The ESJ tower is conveniently located within 10 minutes from the airport, 2 minutes from a full-size supermarket, 30 minutes from Old San Juan.

The unit is conveniently located on the same floor of the swimming pool and right above the beach/parking level for easy in and out.

the unit is comfortably spacious enough for a family of three or four. Clean and equipped with stuff you need for a few days of stay. lots of towels.

Only thing that I hope is better is the deco. It looks so 80's. But of course, I understand modern/comtemporary deco will come with a higher rental fee.

Recommended for: Families with Young Children
