Fun Vacation at a Great Location

This Villa was in an exellent location and the accomodations were fantastic. We rented the entire compound which consist of the main villa along with a guest villa. The property along with the Villas were very clean and the furnishings were very, very nice. The owner Stuart was very accomodating and an all around good guy. The pool and swim up wet bar was our main focus every day and night. The pool and surrounding yard with it's tall palm trees and various types of plant life really gives you that tropical island feeling. The beach is only about 100 feet from the back yard. I have told numerous friends and relatives about it and we also are looking foward to returning on our next vacation. If you visit Old San Juan be sure to have lunch or dinner at Raisins and order the large pork chop, you will not believe how good it is.

I found Villa Playa Maria as I was searching for a location for my wedding last year. My fiance and I fell in love with the place and decided to go see it. What we saw was amazing!!! The house is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you would need. It's in a great location in Rincon and the perfect spot to relax and unwind with family and friends. For those that love the beach and want to surf, Villa Playa Maria is the place to do that and more.
Our wedding turned out amazing thanks to Stuart, Anita, and staff! All my guests fell in love with the property and are anxious to go back. We are looking forward to our next visit!

From the minute we walked into this luxe vacation home we knew we had lucked out. Stuart had music playing, the house was open to the ocean breezes, it was heaven on earth. The house has everything anyone could want. Home office (god forbid), direct TV, sound system, air conditioning, pool (steps from Maria's beach). Everything was clean and new and top of the line. BBQ grill too for whipping up some burgers for the kids. What is great about this place is you never have to leave. You can see the kids from every window, the pool and beach are at your finger tips, and there is plenty of privacy. We have already booked again for next year, what are you waiting for? It's awesome!

We all had a great time. Villa Playa Maria was luxurious, had great audio/video systems, and provided plenty of room for eight adults and a baby. Acting as manager, caretaker, and entertainment concierge, Stuart White turned out to be a great host, insuring that our vacation was a success. Among the most enjoyable activities were; surfing lessons, watching others do it correctly, taking it easy at the private pool, prime beach volleyball viewing, snorkeling right down the beach (swan with hawksbill turtle), hiking and swimming in waterfall pools, eating out and dancing at a local bar. Diving was not the best but open sea conditions prevented us from experiencing the Desecheo Island area that Stu recommended. All and all this place was the best located accommodations in the Rincon area. Watch out for the 151 Rum punch at Calypso Bar & Grill!

Gteat Time had by all 7 Zambetti's. Perfect Christmas retreat for a large family with deverse interests.
We went to Guajataca forest for a nice day trip / hike, Rio Camuy caves (this is a must) and Arecibo Observatory (same day as Rio Camuy)
We went snorkling/surfing most days, with a day trip to Desecheo for snorkling.
Tried to get to Guanica & Cabo Rojo, but rraffic through Mayaquez was horrific. A Great Week !!!!!

What an amazing house and location you have here. Our girls (ages 4.5 & 2) had a blast playing in the pool and on the beach while Matt & I made ourselves comfortable next to the blender. Fantastic !!! We also felt so at home here that we didn't feel the need to venture too far. Thank you for an amazing vacation that we will surely remember for a long time to come. We plan to come again !!!
