This gorgeous two bedroom condo has been completely renovated. Plantation shutters, travertine floors, granite counters and wine bar are just a few of the features in this well appointed unit. A designer influence is evident in the decor which has a tropical flavor, with touches of the Caribbean islands and jungle throughout.

This beautifully maintained three storey condominium building, with only 16 units, is located on a waterway of Boca Ciega Bay and is only 800 feet from the Gulf of Mexico. The condo is adjacent to a small picturesque bridge, the only entry way to the upmarket Isle of Capri section of Treasure Island in which the condo is located. The building sits across from a picturesque tree filled park with winding foot paths and tennis courts.

The setting is exceptional; it looks like what Florida was meant to be, tropical and tranquil. No concrete high-rise buildings in sight, not one. But you are still steps from the widest beach on the Gulf Coast and all the activity on Gulf Boulevard. John's Pass Village waterside boardwalk with its cafes, boutiques, galleries, and restaurants is within walking distance. There are many fine local restaurants featuring American and Continental cuisine, and most are within walking distance. Busch Gardens Theme Park is a 50 minute drive to Tampa.

Our lovely family owned condo contains memories of my childrens' summers, birthday parties, 4th of July picnics and fireworks, and the countless hours they spent playing in the park across the street. Now my grandchildren are enjoying the condo and the wonderful recreational opportunities of Treasure Island. We are the original owners and have maintained the condo at a standard which offers comfort, convenience, and aesthetic appeal.

The Owner purchased this condo in 1982

Treasure Island generates a small town feel, but has the amenities and atmosphere people seek for a get away: perpetual sun, breezes off the Gulf, wide sidewalks that encourage foot traffic, casual and fine dining restaurants, friendly and fun beach bars, and many beach and boating opportunities.

The condo is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and activities, e.g. rental bikes and motor scooters, rental boats, galleries, resorts which offer entertainment and dancing. The public park across the street is great for children and has tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, baseball field, and picnic facilities.

This was a great find. It was very clean and atractive. Well equipted with everything we could have expected. Weather could have been better, but that was not anyone's fault.

Perfect In Every Way

We stayed at this condo in January of 2012 and found it to be everything we had hoped for. We did ALOT of research trying to find just the right condo for the 2 of us. We are very particular about our surroundings and we felt very comfortable and "at home". We loved the location...and the decor was lovely. This condo is very well equipped ...lots of supplies, spices etc.
We really enjoyed the fact that is was a smaller complex..only 2 floors...so it was easy to get to the unit once you parked your car. Like the title says....it was ......Perfect In Every Way!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

BEWARE!

I first requested info from this site stating that we had 2 adults and 3 children. My husband also corresponded to the owner over the phone and restated the number in our party and that we had children. Within 15 minutes upon arrival, we were told that they were keeping our deposit because children were not allowed. (I did not pay attention to site but it says "not suitable" for children, not that they are NOT allowed. We were flabbergasted and could not believe it! My children overheard the conversation and felt very unwelcome. We stayed since it was paid for and made no damage of any kind. The deposit was revoked when we arrived! BEWARE
Owner's Response: Our small 16 unit condo building has no children; out of respect for the other owners and occupants I list the property as Not Suitable for Children. I receive many telephone and and email requests for information. I rely on the written correspondence, mine and potential renters, as my official records of qoutes and agreements. The couple listed 2 Adults, 0 Children on their request for a quote. I responded via email with the quoted rate for two adults. When they arrived with 3 adolescent boys, I called their attention to the published rate for four or more occupants. That additional rate is the same as my standard security deposit. As they had brought cash for only two occupants, I told them I could apply the security deposit to the additional rental money due. It left me without a security deposit, but it was a solution which we both accepted.
