Paradise in the Berkshires

Freda Los Angeles area
Review Submitted: October 19, 2007 Date of Stay: October 2006
This lovely house and setting was exactly as we hoped and expected, based on the information. IT was ideal for a relaxed vacation. Rooms were spacious - especially the main living section. All aspects of the house/accommodations were excellent. The view couldn't be better, I could sit and gaze out at the environment for hours and find something of interest on the water, on the shore or across the lake, where I could see Tanglewood. The neighborhood was great for walking. The lake was great for boating. The location was convenient to all the local charm.
WOuld highly recommend.

The house was everything they said it would be and more. Very comfortable, spacious and inviting home. It had a great layout and all the comforts of home and then some. Great location and the view of the lake was magnificent. Would definitely want to rent this place again. Recommend it highly to all those who want to get to know the Berkshires.

Our Dream House and Vacation

Nancy K. Andover, MA
Review Submitted: January 16, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2007
From the second we unlocked the door, until we tearful locked it behind us at the end of the week, this house was the perfect vacation home. It is incredibly clean, comfortably decorated, and I could literally spend the rest of my life sitting on the back deck. My children were enchanted with the loft, and were actually as content sitting on the deck as I was. We rented kayaks, went to Jacob's Pillow, Tanglewood, the Rockwell Museum, ate at great restuarants, hiked, and just chilled. We were truly heartbroken when the week cam to an end - and cannot wait to return next summer.

A Relaxing Week in the Berkshires

Marj Boston, MA
Review Submitted: October 16, 2007 Date of Stay: July 2007
This home in a lovely setting is the perfect getaway spot. Comfortable, airy, pleasant best describe the place. The lakefront view from the livingroom reminded us of a Monet painting. Whether you prefer to relax in front of the lake or visit the lovely towns for shopping or the many cultural events nearby you cannot go wrong staying here.
The owners were responsive and helpful.

Lovely home in a perfect location

Review Submitted: October 12, 2007 Date of Stay: August 2007
After renting this house last July, our family liked it so much we went back again in August and have booked it for 2 weeks next summer. The setting is ideal -- right on a beautiful lake and close to everything the Berkshires has to offer. The house is bright and spacious with breathtaking views. In short, it has a charming contemporary feel in a beautiful and peaceful setting. We found the owners to be responsive, easy to deal with and accommodating. A great find!

What a fabulous place to relax and rejuvenate

Poses Miami, FL.
Review Submitted: October 11, 2007 Date of Stay: September 2007
I stayed there in September of 2007 for a week and it was the perfect getaway for me and my husband. The house is airy and comfortable and makes you feel like your at home. The bedrooms were spacious, but the best part of the house for us was the living area. It looks out on a huge beautiful lake filled with lily pads and swans and geese. It is minutes away from quaint little towns filled with fun restaurants and shops and is a perfect place to stay if you are going to Tangelwood and catching outdoor concerts. I highly recommend this experience to anyone in need of a perfect getaway.

We had a difficult time getting enough blankets and there were no beds in the loft, the additional sleeping area that was supposed to house 2 people. Limited drawer space, and we even discovered that we would have to drive the garbage to another location by car. In general, the owners were not easy to communicate with.
