HOME SWEET HOME!

Submitted: June 22, 2012 Stayed: August 2011
HOME SWEET HOME! Well, it's time to say good-bye again :(. We had a lovely stay again - with excellent weather, a big big surprise (Thanks John for the great boat trip!!) and lovely people around. This time, we didn't go on too many trips, but we enjoyed the cottage and the canoe, the volley-ball and all the great toys for our kids. We will definitely come again - probably not next year, but as soon as possible. Thanks Paul for the very easy booking procedure. Thanks John and Thelma for letting us join you in the boat. Thanks Anthony for your 'early call' (it was not the gas :)). Thanks Barbara for the lovely delicious jam.

A Wonderful Hide-Away

Submitted: November 1, 2010 Stayed: June 2010
Splendid little island. Enjoyed the whole province. Gulls, cormorants, herons & eagles feasting at low tide. Pretty little song birds - deer, fox and even a beaver. Splendid storms and quiet waters. Days of sunshine and gushing rain. Cozy little cabin with many a blazing fire. Would return to this wonderful hide-away if there weren't so many other places to see.

A Relaxing Family Vacation

Submitted: October 31, 2010 Stayed: August 2010
We found this cottage on the internet. Conny and Micheal's comments convinced us and so did the pictures and the description. But wow - we hadn't expected to find our very special paradise!!

It's awesome here, just everything is so perfect. Our little boys love it - they haven't been bored for a second. We enjoyed every moment here - we were looking for silence, tranquility, nature...and sun. And we found all of it right here! It's exactly the right place to relax after some stressful months. Thank you so much, also for your hospitality! We're so sad that we have to leave...

A Magical Stay

Submitted: October 31, 2010 Stayed: September 2009
Anthony and Barbara - thanks to you and Paul (with whom reservations were made) and where thoughtfulness and enthusiasm as well as fond description of the cottage cemented our plans to stay here: Not to mention the tantalizing description and pictures online.

It's been a magical stay and you made it all the more special making your acquaintance. As a base of departure for exploring Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Island we were always delighted to return "home" here.
