Yes, I should have trusted that the owner would send me the keys in plenty of time, but I'm not that kind of trusting person. In the end, I got the keys in enough time and my family of 9 were so impressed with the place and loved it so much that they told me that I should get on better terms with the owner to make sure he would rent it to us again.
This is actually a condo - the top two floors of a building with an elevator. It has five distinct bedrooms with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Lots of TV's, bathrooms, wood floors, beautiful decor - not completely perfect, but perfect enough - and close to town. I walked to Rehoboth, took pics and walked back inside of 2 hours. Sanibel Village is right behind the Big Fish Grill - a big attraction.
But our event was my son's wedding. The rehearsal dinner was at Dogfish Head - a local icon. The reception was at Arena's on Rte 1 - conveniently within walking distance to the condo.
In the end, the owner knew that I was upset because I wasn't getting answers to my emails requesting information on when he was sending the keys. He sent a beautiful bouquet of Gerbera daisies to greet me at the condo when I got there. How did he know that my daughter-in-law had chosen that particular flower for her wedding flowers?
What a good time we had! The perfect place for our family event!

We had 4 couples for a long shopping weekend!! Great location, plenty of room for all of us, was a great place for us and we all had a great time. John was great to deal with, especially for the last minute reservations, would definetly rent again next year!!

We had a great time close to the beach, shopping, and night life. The condo was spacious clean very bright (sunlight), pleanty ammenities. The kitchen was well equipped, the laundry room certainly handy!
The owners were a pleasure to deal with. There was pleanty of room for my partner and me, and my children and their families. With pleanty of bedrooms for your private space.
We will definetly return.

This was our second year renting this condo. It is very spacious with large living and dining areas where large groups can gather. The screened porch on the main level provides for smaller groups at the same time The 5 bedrooms are large and comfortable and provide privacy for the several family groups in our extended family.With the convenience of several swimming pools close by and the beach an easy trip it is easy to get to all activities at Rehoboth Beach. The rent is reasonable and we found the owners easy to work with. If circumstances permit it we will certainly return next year

We had yet again another great stay at this townhouse. We liked that it had a pool at the end of the street. We played tennis this year. It is a very convenient location to route 1 and the outlets, to drive to other beach towns, and the water park. We feel more relaxed staying here than renting something right at the beach because it is quieter and less crowded. The drive is easy to the boardwalk and beach and we never had any problem parking at any time of day there is a lot of turnover for spots. We didn't rent a weekly parking pass because the metered spots were closer to the beach. The place itself is very spacious and clean. We went there with another family and our 2 babysitters and had ample room. The laundry on site is great and the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, silverware etc. We chose to stay here for a second year because it really met our needs as an active family who wanted all the room.

Your place is Awesome!!! There were 10 of us all together and plenty of room for all!! Great size of the rooms and the kitchen had enough room for everyone to move around without running into each other, enough bathrooms for all. We spent most of our nights on the screened in porch,relaxing. Not far from the beach and great dinning places too! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who may be looking for somewhere to stay that is like home and very peaceful. The kids loved the two pools. Thank you for a making our vacation a great one!

Originally there were only going to be my wife and I and our son and his wife and our 2 grandchildren for a few days. Suddenly we had our other 3 children, their spouses and 3 more grandchildren and were ver y lucky to get t his place for a week, The owners, John and Tim were ver y niceand easy to deal with . The house was clean and ready for occupancy. An elevator helped a lot as my wife was suffering from sciatica making it painful to walk( we rented a wheelchair while there). The elevator was also good for ou 3 year old grandchild. T he proximity to 2 swmming pools and tennis courts provided nice alternatives to t he beach. The house was very roomy and the layout provided each family privacy while at the same time there was ample room for everyone to gather together in the open living, dining and kitchen area.. The screened porch (deck) on the first level provided a quiet retreat and a respite from the A/C . all of the utilities, and appliances worked fine. The one exception being we couldn't get the high speed internet to work. The price is very reasonable considering the large space. We are definitely considering returning next year.
