The property was clean & comfortable and does have wonderful views. The owner was most efficient, friendly and considerate as was the "greeter" at the property.
It is good for complete relaxation on the south facing deck or use as a base to explore the Cote d'Azur.
Locally Vallauris & Golfe Juan are worth exploring.
A car is essential or be prepared for a demanding descent to and climb back from the excellent coastal rail and bus connections.
All-in-all a really good holiday but not for the faint-hearted.
Would certainly consider renting again and would not hesitate to recommend to friends.

We Came Home Reluctantly

Dear Nicky and Colin We came home (reluctantly) last Sunday after spending the most wonderful week in your apartment. The weather was just perfect, unbroken sunshine throughout. We could see why you made the investment - the view from your terrace at night is enchanting, just as we imagined from the internet photo. When you next travel there, you can read about our exploits in your visitors book. In the meantime thank you for a really great time - we hope to be back soon. Best wishes Judy and David Levenson PS Christine was most helpful and gave us very good service.

A Bit Of Late Sun And Elegance

Andy and Kerrien Grant. Argyll, Scotland stay 09Sept11 – 17Sep11
We booked this late-ish holiday to give us a bit of late sun and elegance to tide us over what will no doubt be a long, cold Scottish winter and can only say so far, so good. Weather has been sublime, the apartment ideal – close enough to the sites and the ‘action’ and far enough away for peace and tranquillity – and the worst of the crowds gone. All in all, it’s been a wonderful week. Highlights for us: Cape d’ Antibes, Cape de Ferrat – Aquarium in Monaco and Antibes in general. A great week

We had a wonderful time here. Very peaceful and beautiful. The swimming pool was brilliant. We had a trip to Cannes, there were a lot of nice things to see there. We also travelled to Monaco, such a beautiful city. Very clean. We spent the whole day there and visited some amazing places. We spent most of our time on the beach, we are all going home with a lovely tan. We would love to come here again! Thank you

It was such a wonderful holiday for us. The weather was great. Your place has a wonderful location - you can see and feel the air of the Cote d'Azur. Our trips to Cannes, Nice, St.Tropez and Antibes were awesome. We also visit Monaco. It was so amazing to see the big houses! Our favourite day was the national day of France in Cannes. The fireworks were really great! Perhaps we'll come back :)

Great Base To Stay At

Great base to stay at - so many fantastic places to visit in under an hours travelling time. Used the car for inland places but mainly used the train for the 'big' coastal ones eg Nice and Cannes and Monaco - as quite inexpensive. Cannot say what was our favourite but Eze and Monaco are definitely at the top. Brilliant music night in Antibes a whole row of bars with various rock and calypso bands.
Loved the little beach at Cap Ferrat - shingly but quiet.
Amazingly we escaped unscathed from the local car and bike drivers - they must all have a death wish!!?
25 - 30 degrees every day!

Had such a lovely time here

Had such lovely time here. Was just what we were after – a relaxing break away from all the busy places but still close enough should we want! We booked here as we had tickets for the F1 GP which was such a good weekend! The food all around is gorgeous and everyone – including Christine and Nicky have been helpful from start to finish.
The hill has provided plenty of exercise but my legs didn’t enjoy it as much as I did! Enjoy your stay!

Bijoux and convenient

Ideal for two people, a bit of a squash with more. A quiet area but only a few minutes into the bustle with a car (Cannes, Vallauris etc.). Lovely view from the terrace, take your mosquito spray in the summer.
Owner's Response: We have many families with small children who rent our house and rebook so it's fine for small families and you're right it is so central to explore from - Monaco is 40 minutes away, Nice 20 mins, Antibes 15 mins and the beach a 5 minute drive.

Great location, but a few niggles

My second stay in two years while attending the Cannes Film Festival.

Positives: Perfect location (just 20 mins from the Croisette by car), quiet yet close to village of Vallauris/ supermarket etc, secure complex, friendly neighbours, comfy main bed, clean.

Negatives: Not at all big enough for 4 adults (we were 3 and it felt cramped at times, so probably best for a small/ young family or couple), no wi-fi (essential if you are there during any Cannes work-related event) and lastly, can quickly smell a bit mouldy.

The last point needs to be qualified: a) I think the property is probably under-used and hence does not get aired too often in off-season, b) we had torrential rain while staying there which did not help.

Overall, no major issues. Will certainly consider making it a third year in a row for next year's festival.
Owner's Response: We now have wi-fi and this was our first booking of the season which doesn't excuse the smell of mold which has now gone and the house smells lovely again. We have families consisting of parents and up to two children (including babies as we have a cot) who book and rebook with us and for them it is comfortable and works well. As owners we often go with friends or parents and it is cosy and you need to get on but it is fun. It's personal choice which makes the world interesting!
