Designed 100% for the vacationer, we offer everything needed to make your vacation a treasured experience. Mixing a Cape Cod beach house with timber post & beam, we've come up with a unique home that's as functional as it is beautiful. Whether it's a couple looking for a romantic escape, several families vacationing together, or having the whole family together for that summer reunion, this property has it all.
Entering the house you're greeted by 50 feet of window overlooking the water, a quick glance upwards reveals a soaring 25ft high ceiling supported by timber beams. Whether you chose to gather in front of a fire sharing stories, watch a movie in the den, or have a feast in the dazzling kitchen, you'll realize we thought of everything.

A Perfect Family Vacation

What a great place to take the family! P.E.I. is a real gem during the summer, and though this house is a bit removed from some of the major attractions, nothing is that far away. And sometimes that's exactly what you are looking for. It was for us! Plenty of peace and quiet. Ahh...
Within minutes of the house are a wonderful summer concert series (at Brackley Beach), fishing and water sports opportunities, great lobster suppers, homemade ice cream, and many beaches to pass the time.
But there was so much that we were able to do without leaving the neighborhood, from kayaking to the hot tub to great living spaces for card games, this property is well-maintained and the owner is very easy to deal with. Only one word of caution...the area is a bit "quiet" in the evening. If you need anything...supplies, groceries, whatever, get them before 9:00 PM or you're probably out of luck until the next day! We figured that out early on.

J'en suis à mon deuxième séjour, et je reviens encore chez nous avec le coeur gros de laisser derrière moi cet endroit de rêve. J'ai séjourné dans cette maison avec 8 amis pour le long week-end. La location, les facilités,le décor, la tranquilité, le confort, les kayacs, les bicyclettes, et je me dois d'arrêter car la liste serait longue. Si vous désirez bien dormir dans des lits de luxe, vous avez trouvé le lieu idéal. Tout est de qualité supérieur. Et je ne pourrais terminer sans parler de Cory : une personne exceptionnelle qui ne sait plus quoi faire pour rendre votre séjour inoubliable.Merci Cory!! De la gang de Caraquet.

We stayed June 20-27 2009 at the Covehead Luxury Beach House. First of all, you have to see this place in person in order to appreciate its true charm...it is absolutely beautiful. You really notice all the fine quality materials and workmanship that went into building this house. There are THE MOST comfortable beds that you just sink into and drift off to sleep, after long days at the beach. The bedding is so amazing and the views from the bedroom balconies are stunning. We loved sleeping with the patio door opened....gusty, summer breezes and distant rolling waves lulled us to sleep night after night. Covehead cottage is fully-equipped with everything and anything you could ever need during your stay. The big, new hot-tub was amazing for quiet, cocktail nights after long days of sightseeing and shopping. The perfect end to perfect days in P.E.I. Centrally located between Charlottetown and Cavendish (20 mins. to either) made it the most perfect and peaceful out-of-town location, but still a short drive to all the area has to offer. Short drives to incredible beaches, dining, activities & adventure. We really enjoyed going to nearby Cavendish & Brackley beaches to search for seashells and watch the sunsets. The owner, Cory was more than helpful in anyway including making sure the house was fully stocked and all was in order. You couldn't ask to deal with a better person! Although the weather wasn't on our side for part of our stay, there were plenty of indoor activities in Cavendish and even just hanging out at the house was fun. Even though we were 7, we never felt crowded because the place is so big. With all the space and beauty this beach house has to offer, you could never be disappointed with your stay. Great location and a fabulous four bedroom house

We consider ourselves very fortunate to have happened upon this lovely rental property for our first family visit to PEI. The house is new and beautifully situated on a river, with the ocean beyond. The large windows, wood interior, leather sofas, television, BBQ, dining room, deck and fully equipped kitchen and laundry room provide all the comforts of home--(not to mention the hot tub!) The entire property is very well maintained and Cory was easy to reach for any questions we had. Our teenaged son made good use of the internet and our 12 year old daughter loved the loft beds. I have a picture of the sun setting over the river, taken from the back deck, which is now my screen saver! It is only minutes from Cavendish, with its many Anne of Green Gables-related activities and gorgeous beach, there is also Brackley Beach nearby, with its historic lighthouse, a drive-in movie theatre around the corner, and Charlottetown with its night life and restaurants. We enjoyed the kayaks and bicycles and even had a fire in the wood burning fireplace one cold rainy night.
All in all, it could not have been a more comfortable residence for the four of us -- and our friends who joined us for a couple of nights were equally impressed. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury rental property and will definitely be contacting Cory again should we have an opportunity to return to the island.
