This spacious home was a perfect get-away. Be ready for peaceful surroundings and nature's beauty on the shore of Moosehead Lake! Our summer activities included swimming, hiking, golfing, boating, fishing, biking, running, walking and more. Our highlight included a day hike of Mt. Katadin in Baxter State Park - among the best hikes in New England and the terminus of the Appalachian Trail. This was about a two-hour drive; so longer stays would require camping in Baxter.
Loggers' Run was well furnished and equipped with everything noted on the website. The property was well maintained, clean and easy to keep that way during our stay. The internet connection was great; so reality can be as close as one allows.
We would recommend this home for those who understand the beauty of Maine's wilderness!

BEAUTIFUL!
Wish we stayed longer! The cabin was gorgeous with breathtaking views of Moosehead Lake and Mt. Kineo. It had everything we needed allowing us to feel at home. Very tastefully decorated with top notch appliances and fixtures. Secluded and very quiet but yet not too far from stores, things to do and places to explore...
The owners were very accomidating and answered all my questions quickly and completely. . Can't wait to come back! Thanks for the memories!

Most Memorable Vacation
My wife, 2 grown children with spouses stayed at Loggers Run June 2008 and will never forget it. The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking. I took many photographs that got rave reviews. Accomodations are top shelf, in fact, there was nothing I was not pleased with.

great place and view
This was a wonderful place to stay. We were there in August, for a week. The house is setup very nice, the kitchen had everything we needed. This was our 1st trip to Maine and we will definitely come back, and yes the moose do come right to the house!!

Loggers' Run Lodge - A great family experience
The accomodations were top notch, very clean, and comfortable. Our family stayed during the winter months and was cozy and warm. The owner was very accomodating. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you for allowing our family to experience Moosehead at it's best.
