Commissioning Week Perfection

The Corner Slip with its beautiful furnishings and sunny fenced in backyard afforded luxury and privacy for our family gathering. Parking spaces were truly a luxury.

A fully appointed kitchen let us visit and relax right here. All beds were of excellent quality and comfort. The outdoor furniture made the week of entertaining.

Our Naval Academy graduate's friends were able to stop in because of the close proximity to USNA.

The water taxi down the street got everyone across the river and right to the downtown action all week long. For $2 ea. the best way to travel. The house is within walking distance to many great restaurants and clubs.

This is the best place to stay in Annapolis! Anytime.
Owner's Response: Commissioning Week is one of the highlights of our Rental season. We are as excited as the parents who are so very proud of their Naval Academy graduate. It is a great feeling that all our preparation and hard work to have our property in perfect condition is appreciated by all our guests.

An outstanding experience!

We had the opportunity to rent The Corner Slip in Annapolis when we buried both of my parents in Arlington Cemetery. The entire experience was remarkable from Arlington Cemetery and the Full Honors to seeing The Naval Academy and experiencing the wonderful restaurants in the area. It is such a convenient location to get to DC to see the sights - It is only 32 miles away. It was so wonderful to be able to return to The Corner Slip in the evenings to enjoy our meals, as well as our children and grandchildren in the well equipped home as well as the back yard, where the children had plenty of room to play. The home is lovely! Fran was wonderful to work with and kept in touch before and during our stay, which was comforting. She had great recommendations of places to eat and things to see. We WILL return!

A Warm and Friendly Place

This wonderful vaction home was quite a surprise to my wife and I. It looked very charming from the outside but the inside was beyond our expectations.

Everything we could want was at our finger tips. Comfortable furniture, both formal and informal, a complete kitchen, large spacious bedrooms and a huge formal dining room. The large patio would have been great for a BBQ, but the weather was not cooperative.

This home turned out to be a great base for our investigation of Annapolis. We simply walked to some of the finest restaurants and shops. We even took a water taxis across the bay to explore the town and the Naval Academy. Hint. If you want to tour the Academy you will need to have some ID like your drivers licence or they won't let you in.

Make sure to take the time to explore the small back streets and great shops in the town. You will find some hinden treasures along with American history.

This was a great adventure.I can see how couples could us this place for a romatic get away or families could use it for a family reunion. It has all the elemants to have a great time. Oh, by the way, if you like to see come incredible boats, power and sail, this is the place. I think they also have sailing cruises on some gorgeous sail and power boats. My wife is not a sailor but still enjoyed looking.

Simply put...This was a great weekend at a great location and in a great house.

The Corner Slip is a Treasure

We had a wonderful experience at this retreat! The home was very clean and efficient. All bedrooms and baths were well stocked with clean linens. The nautical motif was understated yet accentuated the traditonal, comfortable charm.

I spoke with the owner of several occasions. She is available any time and very forthcoming with local information. Excellent customer service!

The Boathouse Grill, forlunch, was just a few blocks away. We also found a small neighborhood pub located in a home. Don't miss this quaint secret spot! Oops!

I highly recommend this location! We were able enjoy the walk, about 1 mile, into downtown Annapolis. I recommend the $5 Mussel plate at McGarvey's on Thursday evenings. Also, Middletons has a fab brunch on Sundays. Savor their Crab Cake sandwich or Crab Benedict. Comes with free Mimosa or Bloody Mary! There are plenty of coffe shops around the waterfront as well as SHOPPING.

Don't miss the Naval Academy: The Chapel, tomb of John Paul Jones and the Museum. I also enjoyed the track meet! GO NAVY!

There is also a day ferry up and down the scenic Severn River!

This property is a sure thing!

Simply Fabulous

My wife and I have vacationed at destinations throughout the US, Canada and parts of Europe. We have stayed at 5 star hotels as well as local B & B's. The Kormann property in Annapolis is one of the most inviting properties we have every vacationed at. The home itself is warm and meticulously maintained. The location is simply fabulous. Walking distance to virtually every amenity, restaurants and of course, walking distance to the water and the local water taxi.

Additionally, the home has a complete listing of all the local restaurants, attractions and items of interest in the Annapolis area.

We highly recommend this property. The owners were wonderful to work with and the property is exactly as described.
