Beautiful Country Home
We had a great time at this lovely home. This was our first time to Vermont in the summer. Our 3 children age13, 11 & 8 loved the alpine slide at SunBromley Park, horsebacking riding on the trails was nearby & we enjoyed going to Emerald Lake for rest, relaxation and going kyacking, canoeing & rowboating & paddleboating on the lake. My husband caught trout in the pond across the street & the dog enjoyed going on long walks everyday. Nearby Lowell lake had a great 3 mile trail that was just breathtaking, we found an old camp with cabins & there was an old cemetary from the 1700's which had revelotionary war vets buried there, it was great to honor them! Pike Falls was an adventure! Nearby shopping at the outlets in Manchester was ok if you're into that but one of the best things to do was just relax in the evening by the fire! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only drawback was that the internet was not wireless (no wireless router), we had to hook the laptop up to the cable but the internet was superfast, but we didn't spend much time on the computer anyway, there was too many other fun things to do! The owner, Deb, is super nice & is easy to deal with. I would recommend this families house highly!! Thank you!
