Oct.05 We have had 10 wonderful days at Ocean Blues - everything has been fantastic - snorkelling with the fishes, watching the birds and sunsets, exploring the island, - sheer heaven. Marci has looked after us very well. We've loved every minute and are very sad to go. However, we'll be back very soon and for longer next time. Annette and Geoff Hardaker

Fantastic holiday
Having returned from Barbados a few weeks ago, I find myself thinking of it every day with wonderful memories of a fantastic holiday, mainly due to having stayed at Ocean Blue, we discovered this lovely house about 3 years ago when we rented the large studio, within a couple of days of being there I had decided that it was the place I wanted to spend my 60th birthday, so this time we rented the whole house and invited our friends to join us, what a great decision, even with the house full to capacity there's enough space to be alone ( inside and out ) the house is kept immaculate by the house keeper Lynne, who manages to do her job so well its not until you go to your room you realise she's there at all, as for the house it's self, every room has views of the Caribbean, there is a lovely little private beach accessed down a spiral staircase, all the rooms are spacious and light, deciding which terrace to eat lunch on was the only drama, that's if you can be bothered to cook, if not the house is perfectly located for the many eateries and bars along the west coast, although I would advise a car driving is easy and other drivers are far more courteous than here, I could go on and on the list is endless but one of our favourite things was that you can flick a switch and light the sea at night for that midnight dip, all in all the perfect holiday, we shall definitely be going back, my advice go and find out for yourself you won't be disappointed
Owner's Response: We are delighted our Ocean house was chosen to celebrate a very important 60th Birthday and wanted to share the experience with friends. Everyone gave great comments and hoped to be able to enjoy the experience again in the future. It is a very special place to us but it is great to think that others feel the same way Many guests return year after year which we feel speaks volumes of how they feel about Ocean Blues! Perfect stay in upper studio at Ocean Blues
We stayed in the upstairs studio over Easter 20-27 April 2011 and had a perfect stay from first arrival to departure. The location of the house right by the ocean with direct access down to the sea (and even your own little beach) was very special. The views are incredible from the terrace looking out over the ocean - we even saw turtles swimming by from our terrace. Lynn, the housekeeper, was fantastic and really looked after us and kept the house spotless. We had a car which made getting around easy. We would recommend Folkestone Marine Park for snorkelling and a trip over to Bathsheba on the East coast. The Lone Star was our favourite restaurant, Daphne's our favourite bar for sunset cocktails and the Sandy Lane hotel for the buffet lunch. However, it was always a real pleasure to return to the house, to enjoy the views from the terrace of the house and to swim in the ocean direct from the house. Many thanks for a beautiful stay and especially many thanks to Lynn who really went out of her way to look after us and to maintain the house to a very high standard.

Holiday Heaven
e have just returned from our two week stay in the studio appartment at Ocean Blues having just enjoyed the best holiday ever in Barbados and have aready asked the owners to reserve the same two week period for next year, it was just fabulous! It was like a second honeymoon for my wife and I and made extra special by the owners, staff and location of this wonderful property! We never got bored of just sitting and watching the wonderful sunsets from our private terrace or watching the constant flow of sailing crafts pass by, it really is something special in an excellent location on the West coast ideal for sight seeing in nearby Bridgetown or some late night entertainment and great restaurants all the way up the west coast from this property to nearby Holetown, Speightstown and even Cattlewash on the East coast! Please don't take our words for it just give it a try and you will NOT be disappointed, it's exactly like it says in the brochure!!

fabulous balcony
We stayed at the upstairs studio in January 2010 and had a great holiday. The property was as described, and the size of the balcony exceeded all expectations. The views were spectacular, and it was very private -it really is the living room for the property. Best of all was the retractable awning which covered the whole area.
Swimming in the sea was great, with easy access from the private beach at the foot of the house.
The accommodation was very clean, with a friendly daily maid service, and the owners made us very welcome.
It is a little distance away from any shops or restaurants, but we travelled on the very frequent local buses for the equivalent of 50p to shops, beaches and restaurants.
