I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was clean.
The property manager was very helpful.

The view was spectacular. We felt the cleaning could have been better. Wood on dining room tables really dirty. Floor dirty. We had a problem with what we think were termites. Had to keep the kitchen windows closed all the time and the dining room windows at night closed. Otherwise we had a ton of bugs in the home. Air conditioning would have made a huge difference. Even a window one. In the afternoon the living room and master bedroom was just sooooo hot.

Great location but villa needs updates

The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
The property manager was more than helpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

This villa is in a great location and you can't beat the ocean views. BUT the condition of the villa was disappointing. The shag carpeting upstairs is disgusting. It should be replaced immediately. The master bed mattress was uncomfortable and the ceiling fan needs to be replaced right away- it's louder than the waves crashing outside. Living room furniture is really heavy/hot and not great for a place without air conditioning. Overall, this villa could use a good cleaning, especially the kitchen. Looks like all it gets is a dusting and wipe down each time. Lanai furniture should be replaced. Some of it was dirty, rusted and ripped. I really wanted to like this villa based on its location, but it needs some updates and a good cleaning.

What a perfect spot to stay in Kailua-Kona. The grounds at the Sea Village were very well maintained and the common area was a great spot to spend with family and friends. We loved the pool and hot tub area where we meet many friendly families.
The benefit is a central location very close to town, yet far enough out that it was quiet and peaceful. Having the Green Flash Coffee house on site was a bonus!
The condo had amazing views and new appliances which can't be beat. Updating the shag carpet on the second floor would improve the overall appeal of this condo. That being said, we would most certainly rent this condo again on our next visit.

The location can't be beat -- 50 ft from the ocean. The space, furnishings and lanais were very nice. The levered windows need to be cleaned and/or replaced. Something needs to be done about the mold in the bathrooms, especially the shower curtains and the bath mat in the non-master bath. We had quite a few ants in the kitchen too. The pool area was well-maintained. We were right next to the pool area and couldn't tell it because it was very quiet. The grills were well-kept.
