This two story cottage will sleep 12 peacefully. There are two bedrooms on the main level, one with a queen bed and the other with two queen beds. The upper level offers a queen bed on the landing and four twins in the bedroom. This cottage is great for two families that like to vacation together or a large family. The Eagle cottage is finished in a knotty pine and comes with a fully equipped kitchen along with scenic views of Twin Lake. Enjoy the 100' of sandy frontage along with the use canoes, row boats, kayaks', fire pit, shuffle board, horse shoe pit, bikes, gas grill, cable TV, VCR, video library, towels, linens and a children's playground. This cottage is one of five available at the South Shore Resort. The South Shore Resort is situated on 3 private acres with sandy lake frontage in a park type setting. The entire resort will sleep fifty and is the perfect place for a large family or groups that are looking to spend time together.

The Eagle Cottage was just right for all of us. It was nice and cozy! We really enjoyed the clean beach everyday, all the boats to use and the playground equipment and most of all the fire pit every night. It made for a very relaxing week. Family Reunion Friendly place

Our family of 30 drove and flew from all over the US to meet at South Shores in Twin Lake. This is the second time we stayed there because there is something there for all ages, making it the BEST and more affordable place for a family reunion. We rented all the cabins and got to use the main dining room, so we could all eat together. Lots of activities for us to do, without even leaving the property. Also, there are activities nearby, (golf and paintball were popular with our group).The owners are very accomodating and understanding. The place is well maintained. (I was hesitant to write this review, for fear it would be rented more often and we might not get the week we want next time, but I felt like the owners deserved to get some well-deserved praise.)

This was the best place i have ever stayed. it was clean and just beautiful. It had everything we could dream of. we only had to bring clothes and food. They supplied everything from the bonfire wood to the propane for the grills.
Thanks Jeff and Doris. We will be back.....

Indeed! Our "cottage" home had the best view and location on the lake. We were reluctant to believe the eagle could sleep 14, but it certainly did! Basketball, shuffleboard, badmitton,volleyball, paddleboat, row boat, canoe were available at the resort. The sand pit on the beach added a warm touch to the evenings... 'smores and great conversation around the bonfire! Sunsets were picture perfect. Groundskeeper was there to attend to any needs at any time. The week was perfect: the fair was in town Muskegon as well as the annual event at the Museum of Art. Take a 30 minute drive to Silver Lake for the Dune Rides in Silver Lake you will be treated to a real area treasure. South Shore resort is a small, perfect spot. Enjoy!
