Enjoy the unique and natural beauty of Amelia Island Plantation. The Plantation is a safe and secure paradise for families. Children's activities abound with swimming in the ocean, visiting the Nature Center which directs crabbing, fishing and owl prowling to name a few.
Restaurants in the Plantation and historic Fernandina are numerous and excellent. The world famous Ritz Carlton is 5 minutes away. There is a wide variety of restaurants from family oriented to fine dining.
The Spa and Salon is located inside the village and is considered top notch. The village also includes several lovely shops which offer a variety of items, from ladies and children's apparel to an upscale gourmet deli and wine shop.
Once you, your family and friends experience life in Amelia Island Plantation, you will want to return again and again.
I fell in love with Amelia Island Plantation the first time I visited. The natural landscape and intimacy of the property drew me in.
I love fresh seafood and love to cook so I run to the marina in Fernandina several times each trip for shrimp, fish, oysters and crab. The first night is always a shrimp boil. The restaurants are great, too.
I like to spend the day on the beach and then take a cool dip in the pool behind my condo. A good book, family, friends and a cool drink is a perfect vacation for me.
I grew up in South Georgia and have always loved the Northeast Florida coast area.
I love the canopy of large oaks and Spanish moss. The plantation reminds me of a wildlife sanctuary. The marshes are beautiful. I walk everywhere I can inside the plantation which has an excellent security force. The beach is just a 3 minute walk from my front door and my pool is right out m my back door so I go back and forth.
There are many restaurants and shops in Historic Fernandina located just minutes away. Go to the marina and buy fresh seafood that has just come in off the boat. I love the shrimp-always do a shrimp boil at the beach.
