4th of July spectacular

We rented this house over Memorial weekend for a vacation week with both sets of parents. What could have been a nightmare scenario with all the parents, us, and family who visited during the day ended up being a great time thanks in large part to the fantastic house and dedicated owner. During the week we were there we were married out on the beach in front of the house and had our small reception on the porch! It was a very small wedding but the house was perfect. The owner helped us with extra tables to use for our guests and gave us the names of a good florist and bakery in Milford. There was plenty of room in the house for all of us to hang out together but also have space apart. The house is extremely clean, well maintained and very thoughtfully stocked. There were beach toys for the younger children and kayaks for the adults. The views are amazing and the neighborhood is charming. We would rent this house again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing seaside vacation.

The secret of the Long Island Sound is that it is absolutely gorgeous and serene in the fall and beautiful in the winter. This lovely, well-insulated home created a life-time of memories for our fall & winter stay there. If you're looking to stay on the Sound, beware that not all homes are created equally. This one has been upgraded with the latest weathering advances, so that your electric and gas bills will be low and the envy of all around. The home is very quaint and stocked with everything you wish you had in your own home (and then some). The bedrrooms range from light (facing the sound) to warm and cozy (3rd floor loft), with something in-between. We will never forget our stay there and this home and its gracious landlords are a big part of it.

Could not have been closer to the ocean. At high tide the waves were right at the deck. We stayed for 2 weeks summer of '07 and loved every minute. Owners were thoughtful and accomodating and place was immaculate and well equipped. We rented the property sight unseen and there wwere no disappointments.
It was a great vacation!

This was our second year renting this home and we absolutely love it. The location is wonderful, the beach is just steps away and the house(s) are immaculate. The owners are more that accomodating and provide the best customer service. We would highly recommend this property to anyone that wants to enjoy a great time at the beach.
