Great Place to Stay

This is our 10th year vacationing in Ogunquit and we've been searching all that time for the "near-perfect" house - we found it with this one. It is a cute, cozy, clean, well-equipped vacation home. Loved the fully stocked bookcase with great reading choices. Enjoyed coffee on the great deck every morning before going to the beach. Conveniently located very close to town and everything it offers. I gave 4 stars to the Accuracy of Photos category because the photos don't do it justice. I would highly recommend this house!

Beautiful Place by the Sea

We met here with our children and grandchild. Had a wonderful time. We looked at a number of properties before choosing this one and decided on this one because it looked so clean and the location seemed ideal. We walked everywhere, pushing a stroller, even just around the neighborhood, very quiet and all homes were well kept. We didn't cook much but the kitchen was well equipped for anyone who wanted to cook. First rate experience. Loved the York Corner Deli on Route 1 in town of York. Will rent again.

Delightful & Cozy Home Away from Home at the Beach

Review Submitted: February 11, 2007 Date of Stay: July 2005
What I loved best about this delightful house is that it doesn't feel like a rental property - it's more like going to stay in someone's home. It's clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The owners seem to genuinely care about their home (and those who come to stay there). "Charming Getaway by the Sea" really does say it best. The house is warm and inviting, and Ogunquit is such a sweet little town. We really did "Stroll to Everything" and we had an absolutely great time.

My family and I have been visiting the US twice a year from the UK for a number of years. We've visited every State on both the East and West coasts. The house at Highland Drive is for us one of the nicest vacation venues we've stayed in. So much so that we are returning for a 2nd visit in Summer 07. The house is comfortable and charming; the web photos accuately display this. It is an easy walk to both the Ocean and shops, an altogether ideal location, as Ogunquit and the surrounding area have everything one needs for an ocean vacation.

This is a lovely house and very clean. It is close to the village and you can easily walk to everything. It has a washer and dryer which is very convenient. It is a quiet, relaxing place to spend your vacation.

This was the perfect property to celebrate a birthday weekend at the most beautiful beach in Maine. After a day at the beach which is truly a short walk away, friends and relatives joined us on the big deck for a cookout and then the short walk to town gave us all something to do in the evening. The property was immaculate, comfortable, private, and safe. 'A cheery little house that I would stay in again.
