Clasina and Richard............

This was our first time renting from an online service and I must say, it was such a pleasure doing business with you both. You made us feel so welcome and at ease that it felt like we were renting from friends.

I cannot think of anything that we needed while staying in your home. It is so comfortable and well equipped, from the kitchen and all the utensils you could possibly need to the games, basketball net, large yard, proximity to the beach and nearby attractions.

Allowing us to bring our four legged children was also much appreciated. Otis was in his glory when he was able to chase his tennis ball around the yard.

I'm not sure if we will be vacationing in the New England area again next year, but when we do it will definitely be at your place if we are lucky enough to find it available.

Best Regards and Thank You again for a great vacation week.

A wonderful home - accommodating pleasant owners!

My wife and I rented this home off season to enjoy a wedding anniversary week by the water. The home is extremely well cared for and the owners take great pride in making sure everything is there for you. Due to the season we could not take advantage of the backyard but it is obvious how lovely it would be in the summertime. At the time we rented there is a great deal of construction going on at the St Clares church right around the corner so there was lots of construction noise during the day when you sit on the sunporch with the windows open. Judging from the progress this should be finished shortly and really not an issue in season when most of your time will be spent at the beach. We were so thankful to have the opportunity to stay at this lovely home and will book again next year!

Favorite Vacation Rental

This rental was ideal for my family which consisted of my wife and I, our 2 children and their spouses.

I am often skeptical when a rental is advertised as "lovely" and a has a list of features that seems too good to be true for a reasonable price.

This rental is more than lovely, it has a fantastic layout with 2 separate floors, it is meticulously maintained and provides all the feature that it advertises. It is on a quiet street with only a walk of a few hundred yards to the beach. It has a large enclosed porch, screened gazebo, living room and separate entertainment room downstairs which allowed the family to separate and have some quiet time when they desired.

I was fortunate enough to meet the owners and although I had never met them before, they immediately treated me like family and were very thoughtful to give me information on the many nice atractions and restaurants in the area.

I highly recommend this rental and hope to return myself in the near future.

A Wonderful Home to Stay In.

This was our first experience renting a home. Hopefully we be able to come back to the area someday and rent this home again. It was absolutly lovely. The basement was perfect for our daughters to get away from the "old folks". Televsion, pool table, ping-pong, and air hockey and their bedrooms were in the basement. The hot tub was fantastic. The kitchen is very nicely stocked with pots, pans and dishware. The home was very well maintained and very clean. The area was very quiet and the beach was only a short walk away. We were not too far from the Coast Guard Academy ( 1/2 hour) and other attractions in the area. Sub Base, Mystic, Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, etc. The only drawback to this home is if you have family members that cannot maneuver steps very well. Overall this home was wonderful, and our family members would highly recommend it.
Owner's Response: Our home is a large spacious split level type of home and has two short staircases with a sturdy handrail. Please note that the downstairs features two bedrooms and a full bathroom and you are able to walkout to the back yard and garage without using stairs.

Dear Clasina & Richard,

We really enjoyed our stay in Misquamicut, and appreciate the effort that went into making us comfortable / welcome. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to say goodbye on our last day, as we hoped to get a head start on the trip home.

To potential visitors: This was our first internet rental, and we would recommend this property without reservation. The home is quite spacious, very clean, and well maintained. A major plus for us was the oversized / private yard, and the quiet and pleasant neighborhood.

The beach is within easy walking distance, and the facilities there are also seemed quite nice. We really didn't spend a lot of time there, as the ocean was too cold for us.

Best regards,
Bob, Rita, and Winston
Owner's Response: The Robidoux family were our first early June, 2007 summer guests. The water temperature during July, August, & early September is usually between 72 to 78 degrees, which is normal for our area beaches.

Clasina and Richard:

This home is so well cared for it does not seem like a rental at all. All the conveniences are there for anyone to use.

What a pleasure you made the entire two weeks of our stay with you.

In the New England area we would think of renting from no one else.

Thank you again.

Jan and Dom

We would highly recommend this beach house for your vacation rental. Our family has vacationed at this location and home for the last two summers and is anxiously counting down the days until our stay this year. You will find a beautiful, well maintained and immaculately clean home with all the amenities you could ever want. The kitchen is stocked just like home with all the necessary appliances, utensils, bowls, plates, glasses, etc. The flow of the kitchen, dining and living area allows for everyone to spread out as well as stay connected. Breakfast on the adjoining porch just through the glass doors from the dining/living area is a treat for all. There is ample room to eat inside, but given the wonderful lawn and patio area on the lower level along with the screened in picnic table dining area, we found that we ate most of our family dinners outside. The lawn and garden areas of this home are unmatched and afford privacy. Don’t like to cook during vacation? No problem, excellent dining and entertainment are just a short walk or car-ride away. A favorite spot of ours is Watch Hill where you can stroll through the shops, get an ice cream cone or ride the carousel. There is plenty of entertainment for everyone age group in this area, all of which you can read about in the Go Westerly publications.

The set up of this home has allowed us to share truly great vacations with our elderly parents and teenage children. With 3 bedrooms and a full dining and living area upstairs and 2 bedrooms and a great room downstairs we had room for everyone. The teenagers could watch what they want on TV and play games downstairs while the adults could have a quiet conversation upstairs. A bonus was the ping pong and pool tables in the garage that allowed for many a spirited game between the teenagers and the adults. While you never have to leave the house to have a good time the beach beckons just down at the end of the street. The town beach offers a wonderful day at the beach as well as entertainment provided by the town on select evenings. We enjoyed many a bike ride or walk to and on the beach. To top this, the home is air-conditioned. there is an outside shower to wash away sand and speed up shower taking after beach time and a hook up for internet access.

A truly enjoyable and relaxing place to make family memories and spend your vacation!
