Ahhhhhhh

Review Submitted: July 14, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We stayed at the house in June of 2009 and absolutely loved it. The house is very well maintained and the property manager is very responsive. The beach is right there. My two girls were at the beach for hours as we sat on the porch and watched them play.
We looked at other "Cottages" in Muskegon and found that many said they were on the beach, but they weren't; we are happy we booked here. The cottage is so big that I could invite friends and family from GR to come and stay the night without falling all over eachother. I would recommend this house to families both large and small.

Reconnect with your family and Lake Michigan

C.Kam Jenison, MI USA
Review Submitted: October 23, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
I recently (October 2008) stayed at this property with family members ranging from 2 years to 80 years old. The 5 bedrooms allowed for personal space when needed, however, when we did stay indoors, most of our time was spent gathering in the spacious dining room connected to the living room. Some people wanted to watch the game in the den, while others prepared a snack in the well equiped kitchen, used the wireless connection in the house for the lap top computer (which we brought from home) or played a game on the large dining room table. Still others talked or read in the livingroom while others gazed at Lake Michigan right outside our wall of windows. Oh, I forgot to mention that still others played on the beach and playground equipment all visible from the house. We could see freighters and passenger boats making their way to the channel from the same windows, or for a really good view, run to the balcony off an upstairs bedroom. At a moments notice we could run outside and then to the pier to see the ships up close. The area has so much to offer...all within walking distance. On Sunday morning their were several kiteboarders in the cove adding to the fun, again visible from windows. We brought bikes and roller blades and used them all right out the front door. Everyone thoroughly took advantage of being so close to the beach. The house itself is set up for a place to kick back and enjoy. The owners have obviously thought about what someone would need while here. Highchair, crib, fans, portable fire pit, step stool, DVD's videos, games, books..the list goes on. We had a wonderful time...everyone was always doing something and no one felt as if we were in each others way. As we were first arriving and driving very close to the house, we passed through a section of Beach Street that has an elevated walk/ bike path on one side and Lake Michigan on the other...breathtaking.

Very Close to beach

Family get together Northville, MI
Review Submitted: August 19, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2007
This property is right on the beach. Acroos the street, the sandy beach is right there. For our stay we have kids age from 4 to 9, they just love it. The house also has large living room and dinning room can seat about 15 easy. The only drawback is bathroom. It only has two bathroom for a 6 bedroom house. Our family stayed for two nights in August, 2007, the weather is terrific.

Since it is kind of hot item, it is hard to get hold of the rental agent. We want to come back this year and called the agent several times but only got one return phone call. We were running out of time, so we rent a different place instead.

All in all, this is a pretty good place close to the beach.
Owner's Response: Thanks for the input. And, you are right it is rented early in the year, so book as early as possible for the best weeks. We are sorry that you could not reach the agent so the owners are now taking calls and getting back to people within 24 hours. Sorry about the delays but I think you will find that your inquires will now be handled quickly! Thanks for staying with us! Thom
