This large,quiet, well decorated condo is very well outfitted and has a spacious lanai that is ideal for outside dining, reading and relaxation. We loved the well tended grounds, the large pool and gym.

The Vista is conveniently located within a short walk to several restaurants , shops, golf courses and a white sand beach.

The owners reside nearby and were most welcoming and eager to make our holiday experience a memorable one. The quality of this property coupled with reasonable rates provides very good value for the money.

We hope to return next year.

After attending a wedding on Oahu, my wife and I spent a few nights at Dennis and Cheryl's Vista Waikoloa condo. If you want warm and sunny, this location is gorgeous. Fly into KOA, stop at Costco for groceries (a few miles south of the airport), then head back north across a moonscape of lava fields to find oasis after oasis of immaculate resort complexes. Weather here is clear, warm, sunny, and outside the southwestern areas of the island that are susceptible to vog.

The unit is well-appointed, nicely furnished, very clean and relaxing. Elevator and reserved parking space are right outside. The large lanai overlooks a fairway, perfect for breakfast. The pool is really nice, and the nearby Grill'n Bar makes a great Mai Tai. The Hilton is a short walk; Kings Shopping Center and Queens Marketplace are a short drive.

Dennis also provided access to the nearby Beach Club at Mauna Lani Resort. Great beach, we went there twice and loved it!

This was our first visit to the Big Island. Distances are huge by Hawaiian standards, and we only had time to roam from Waimea to Captain Cook. Hilo and Hawaii Volcanoes Nat'l Park are a long drive from Waikoloa. A Kona coffee farm and the City of Refuge were a fun and easy afternoon excursion.

Dennis was a pleasure to deal with -- prompt with email, always available by phone, and generously concerned that we have a great time. Dennis and Cheryl have several other properties nearby as well. We'll be back, and next time we'll stay longer.

We just returned with two of our adult children after spending a delightful 12 days in this unit owned by Dennis and Cheryl. What a luxury to have all our breakfasts (and many lunches and dinners!) outside overlooking a quiet and beautiful golf course, and how convenient to have a free parking space nearby, an elevator to facilitate the carrying of groceries and luggage, and the close proximity of the swimming pool, Most important Dennis was always available to assist us when needed. We highly recommend this beautiful condo in the Vista Waikoloa.Resort. It's A REAL FIND!

Roy and Carolyn from Idaho, Frank and another Carolyn from Utah-we just got back from our stay at the Vista Waikoloa condo #11286 on the Big Island. The location was perfect for us-the condo was right across the street from the Hilton where some of our family were staying and it was close enough for us to enjoy a quick walk to see them or them to see us. They were sorry they hadn't rented the condo. The condo is spacious with views of the golf course, clean, comfortable, and also an easy walk to shopping and dining. We especially appreciated Dennis and Cheryl's helpful information and quick responses-no question was too silly to answer. We recommend this wonderful condo.

This Vista Waikoloa condo was great. It was a neat and comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Very spacious and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect and central to the Kohala coast and convenient to shopping and restaurants, as well as Kona, Kawaihae, and Waimea. The owner was very helpful and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend this location and hope to rent there again someday (soon!).

The condo was very beautiful, comfortable and clean. We had an amazing time in Hawaii. The owners were extremely helpful with directions from the Kona airport, etc., and the location was perfect....just across the street from the Hylton Resort where my daughter's wedding took place, and short walks to the Kings and Queens Shopping Plazas. I would recommend this condo to anyone and I would definitely stay there again if I get back to The Big Island, Hawaii.

This was a great trip for my wife and two boys (ages 8 and 11). The condo is centrally located to a number of great beaches within 15 minutes or less as well as great shopping for souveniers, groceries, and restaurants.

It is also a great location to explore the rest of the island as it is only 30 minutes to Kona, the Saddle Road is near by to travel over to Hilo and to Volcanos National Park. Also, we took some half day trips to the North part of the island to Hawi and the Pololu Valley and still came back to relax on the beach for the other half of the day. We had a full day of travel and sights when we went to the Volcanos National Park, but when we returned the kids loved to splash in the pool that is on site. It is a great area to hang out and relax while the kids have fun.

The owners were very attentive and responsive if we ever had a question about anything. They were also willing to accommodate us to stay a few days longer, however, our flights did not match up so we were disappointed.

On top of everything else, the weather was basically perfect each day. 80 to 85 degrees, sunny, and relatively low humidity. Perfect for being outside and relaxing on the beach and playing in the water.

In March 2012 my husband and I traveled to the Big Island for an 8 day vacation. We once again rented the condo from Dennis & Cheryl at Waikoloa.
This was our third visit to the Big Island and our 2nd stay at this condo. The condo was comforable, clean,quit, and very relaxing. The condo is also very spacions and beautifully decorated.
Restaurants, shopping, golf, and the ocean are all within walking distance fron the condo, and as always, the weather was perfect.
