Nice house for vacation.
But we had to wash the shower curtain , it wasn't clean and let a humidity odor in the bathroom.
When we left we removed the linen sheets from beds, and we saw that pillows and the matress were with stains.

My wife and I had an enjoyable and restful stay at Dr. Nolan's Tahoe home in early April. We found the
house and hot tub in excellent condition and enjoyed warm fires in the evenings. Our golden retrievers
enjoyed running around in the large, fenced backyard. The home is centrally located to many eateries, the ski slope, the casinos, and of course the lake. This was our second stay at Dr. Nolan's
home and I can't think of a better deal in South Lake Tahoe for a three bedroom home, with a hot tub, and
a large fenced backyard for your pets at no extra charge.

Stayed at this nice house over the weekend with my boyfriend. It was a nice cabin feeling especially to end the winter season up in Tahoe and the hot tub is only minutes away from the California base lodge at Heavenly. Can't beat the price for a nice tahoe cabin and a great sized backyard for the dogs.

Dr. Nolan was extremely flexible with us. We are on a budget and he allowed us to work out the payments to him so I did not have to pay a lump sum. This was very helpful and the only way we could have made this trip. The home itself is older and definitely cozy. We stayed for a week 9/6-9/13. My doggies LOVED the yard. We currently live in an apartment and they could not get enough of playing ball in the backyard. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. I had a hard time adjusting, upon returning home, to sleep as the hustle and bustle of the Bay Area is much louder than I ever noticed previous to staying with in this rental. We are currently working out plans to make this the "place to be" for us on all our vacations to Tahoe. Just down the road from Heavenly makes this rental perfect for skiers. It was also close enough to enjoy the lake down the hill as well as numerous hiking trails up the hwy via car. Everything worked great and I have no complaints!

I give this vacation 5 stars because there were so many great aspects of staying in this home. First was the location. It was fairly close to everything. We rode our bikes in to Stateline to have desert and go shopping. The park was a short jog and a very short car ride away. We took our daughter and dogs there and they had a blast. Also Safeway was close. The second best part was the kitchen. Usually when we come home from a hotel vacation we are drained because we have eaten out so much and have not gotten a good healthy meal, plus cooking saved us a lot of money. The kitchen had a all the basic cookware and then some. Third Nolan was very accommodating and quick to respond to every email. We had originally made the deposit for our August 2011 trip, but had to cancel. I figured we would not get our deposit back because I do not think anyone gives them back, but we were able to choose another date. We decided we would just hold the deposit for our 2012 vacation since we go up every year. He was fine with that and so were we. He also responded quickly when I inquired about getting my deposit returned, even though he was on vacation. I had the check back within a matter of days. Finally the hot tub. It was so nice to get in to the hot tub once the weather cooled down. We were in there for about an hour each night and it was the perfect way to relax after our busy days.
There were only a couple of downfalls to the home. First the floors and sofa had a lot of stains. However knowing that the rates are very low and pets are allowed at no extra cost I kind of expected that. His cleaning crew did do a nice job getting the place as clean as it could be. Second there was no AC but I think that is kind of a luxury in Tahoe homes as I noticed most people had their windows opened throughout the days. It got pretty warm in there and one night it barely cooled off before bed so we had a hard time getting to sleep. Despite those minor problems the house served its purpose and our whole family (dogs included) had a great vacation.

First of all I would like to thank Dr. Nolan for helping us on what could have been a disaster. The original house we rented had been double booked. It was Dr. Nolan to the rescue! He was more than accommodating. I also would like to thank his house keeper. We had to switch homes in the middle of the day due to new tenets coming into the home we were in, she was very good and fast, she definitely went out of her way to accommodate us.
The home was perfect for our needs. It is close to just about everything in a quiet neighborhood. There was a large flat screen in the living room with a lot of channels to keep the kids happy. The kitchen was large and clean with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable with memory foam toppers. The back yard was very nice! The lawn was wonderful, my kids and dogs felt like they were laying on "green velvet". I did not use the hot tub, but my kids loved it! However don't look for a grey house, now it is blue. The baby trees in the photo are now big, which allows for shade and privacy.
I could say enough about this home. you will not regret it at all. Thank you Dr. Nolan! I will be back soon!

Okay folks, this place is magic. Great location, close to EVERYTHING. We had plenty of blankets, pillows, sheets, and FUN. Also, being dog friendly is SUPER important to my fiancee and I, and this house made it very easy to bring him along. Check out Overland Market if you're looking for fresh meats, or poultry. Also, the hot tub was clean and in working condition, oversized and luxurious, it was just what the Dr. ordered after a long day of hiking and trail walking. I would suggest this home to ANYONE that is looking for a GREAT vacation home that doesnt break the bank, but still allows our four legged family to come along. The owner even arranged to have the UFC pay per view ordered for us in advance so that we wouldnt miss our favorite sport. I now have a for sure go to spot for the South Lake Tahoe area, and this is it!!

We had a great time. Went for a getaway, just my wife and I. Everything was great, Nolan was easy to work with. Hot tub was nice and relaxing, used the gas bbq. Oh and nicely fenced yard for our dog. Wi fi for computer was convenient and gas firplace made for a nice setting.. So close to everything, I was surprised.. Very good experience. Thank you Nolan
