Hideaway Cottage, offering one floor living, in a smoke-free environment, is tucked away amidst perennial gardens and lawns, at the end of a quiet lane. No Smoking anywhere within Cottage & porch; No pets. RATES POSTED ARE FOR DOUBLE OCCUPANCY; ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR 3 & 4TH PERSON. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY:4 PERSONS.

From : 'Girlfriends' Getaway' Guests~: * It was fate that we found the Hideaway Cottage on-line…it has been the perfect refuge for 4 moms in need of our own vacation. The cozy, “home” feel of the cottage, pretty gardens, and the personal touches all around the cottage made us feel like it was made for us. The “James Herriot’s Yorkshire” in the bookshelf on the porch even brought back childhood memories of home for Annabel.

We enjoyed the creative sandwich combinations at the Rooster Café and having dinner delivered in from Christos. Shopping was fun, but we valued the un-interrupted peace and time for our “girl talk”.

Our long weekend away has left us longing for more time to spend away from the hustle & bustle of our everyday lives. We’re already planning our next summer retreat to the Hideaway Cottage—“The Girl friends’ Getaway”. Cherie, Michele, Beth, & Annabel, Worcester, NY

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable cottage. It truly felt like home from the first second we walked in. We couldn't have thought of a better way to bring in the New Year than lobster, wine, and the cozy fireplace! Anne and Ron's recommendations for places in town were great. Guest Book note 12/28/11 ~ "Anne- You were so helpful from the first phone call. Your cottage is great. My husband I have been coming up to Dorset since we met. His Aunt and cousin live up here and we love it. We've always stayed at their house but this Christmas it was full so I found your cottage. Well, I think you got us! I want to stay here every time from now on. We have 2 kids and this gave us the perfect space. Home Away from home. And you seem to know exactly what we needed. The house had everything and was super cozy and the mini xmas tree in the window was very sweet. Thank you and we'll probably be back soon. Much happiness in the new year!! ..."

Dear Anne & Ron, We were truly At Home In Manchester, Vermont. We flew 12,000 miles from Manila, Philippines to NYC & drove onward to Hideaway Cottage. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! We had a wonderful 4 day stay-was great ambiance to catch up and visit with our daughter, her 4 month old baby boy, and our son-in-law. Very relaxing, comfortable and cozy...I will definitely be back--this time "Fall" to enjoy the colors and see the mountains & valleys... waking to vibrant colors

A surprise stay from my husband!

This stay in Vermont was a surprise from my husband and what a surprise! It was cozy, quiet, and comfortable. All the little added extras kept us looking around! And just a most enjoyable stay. My friends and I had a wonderful time staying in your comfortable cottage. It was an ideal location very close to the town center. We enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace. It was a perfect setting for our yearly Girls Weekend Away. We had fun antiquing in East Arlington Antique Center (great place)and had a great meal at "Up for Breakfast". . . went Apple picking at "Mad Tom's" in East Dorset. We came to Manchester to run in the Komen Race for the Cure. As we struggled to find a place for the 3 of us to stay, I was delighted when the Manchester Chamber of Commerce called you on my behalf. Hideaway Cottage is so cozy---

Wood Fire, a cup of tea, and a good book--I almost didn't want to venture forth--but I did and enjoyed the Manchester area... knowing I had the cottage to come home to.
