Our family (7 of us) stayed in the villa for one week and truly enjoyed our experience there. The house was clean, well decorated and well managed. The cozy atmosphere made us feel totally at home. It was nice to have a comfortable place to return to after a busy day at the theme park. We took full advantage of the well-equipped kitchen for breakfasts and most of our dinners. WalMart is only five minutes away, so getting groceries was very convenient. The villa is in a quiet neighborhood, yet not too far away from shops, restaurants and attractions. On the nights that we did not want to cook, we had plenty of options for meals.

The pool area, overlooking the lake was particularly relaxing, especially during sunset hours. After being out the whole day, it was great to relax in the pool/spa and enjoy the beautiful fountain on the lake, which lighted up at night. We just wished that we were not out as much, so we could enjoy the pool and the villa more.

The owners, Andy and Anne, were very friendly and easy to work with. Even with the time difference, they responded to emails very promptly and tried their best to accommodate us as much as they could. The whole rental process was simple and pain-free. I highly recommend this villa to those who visit Orlando.

I have stayed at another villa on two previous occasions but as it was already booked for our holiday dates, we had to look elsewhere.......and found this beauty!

I chose this villa as I am familiar with the location but not this community and I was not disappointed. It is very well maintained, with a beautiful palm-lined avenue taking you up to the gates.

Onto the villa itself - what a stunner.

Bedrooms - every bedroom is decorated lovely and very well appointed. There is an abundance of hangers and plenty of shelving/wardrobe space in which you can find spare sheets, blankets and more importantly pillows (no-one ever thinks of this but its all included here)! Our bed had a pillow topper on it, and it could not be more comfortable. Every little thing has been thought of (including an alarm clock.....you can't lie in every morning!)

Lounge - Plenty of very comfy seating surrounding the TV. There is also a good choice of DVD's and video's for those 'down times' after a long day at the parks.

Kitchen - plenty of utensils, cups, glasses, plates etc, including plastic ones for out by the pool, and cooking trays included with the monster oven! Dishwasher is a treat, along with the monster fridge/freezer (it must be related to the oven!!)

Utility closet/garage - The inclusion of a washing machine and tumble dryer is a massive bonus as you don't need to pack as much. There is a great hanging rail in the garage, together with a clothes horse, and items dry really quickly due to the heat.

Pool area - there has been plenty of thought into the number of chairs/beds for the size of the villa with quality cushioning, ideal for an afternoon snooze by the pool! And the location means the pool is in the sunshine all day long. The pool is a good size - with a beautiful view across the lake (just watch out for the alligators!) The patio door is alarmed so children cannot go out without you knowing, and the safety fence is a good feature especially if small children are in your party.

I have already e-mailed the owners about a re-booking for possibly next year, or definitely 2013. You really don't need to think hard about going to this villa as you will not be disappointed - stop reading this and get booking!! Well done Andy & Anne!!!

P.S. Walmart is 5 minutes away, ideal for your shopping basics. Recommended restaurants - Breakfast - Sizzle n Grill opposite Old Town and for Dinner - Logans Steakhouse, the Outback and Chili's.

"We had a fabulous family holiday at this villa in July/August 2010. The villa was of an exceptionally high standard; very clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home there.

The living area and bedrooms were decorated to a very high specification, everything we needed was provided for us. The outdoor area with the pool and jacuzzi was fantastic; so much so that, on several occasions, the children wanted to leave the parks and go back to the villa!!

The location was perfect; Cumbrian Lakes was quiet yet it was easy to get to all the major tourist attractions and parks. The owners were very friendly and helpful and provided loads of useful information regarding places to eat, shop and visit.

We were very sad when our holiday came to an end. We had planned to visit Florida only once but, having stayed at this villa, we will definitely be back!!

We stayed in this home in February of 2011, and we have absolutely no complaints. The home was very clean, comfortable, and in a quiet location. The rental company was available to answer any questions we had during our stay. I would definitely recommend this home for your Florida vacation!

We had a great vacation at this property in September 2010.
We are a family of 5 so we did not use the entire villa but were very comfortable.
The location is excellent - very close to the parks and to the commercial centers (e.g. near 192), but located at a very quiet and peaceful environment.
The villa is well arranged and equipped. Great for kids!
All needed information is easily accessible and the owners were very nice and helpful. Rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures.
Highly recommended it if you are considering vacation in Orlando.
