Great Property down the street from water, shopping, eating
I can't say enough about our stay at this property. I had a party of 9 to house. We are all college friends, most from Texas and we were coming in for a wedding. With that many people, it was a bit unnerving to house everyone in one place. We almost gave up and booked our own accommodations when I happened to see this property.Communication with the owner and property manager was simple, both replied to all my messages and inquiries within 24 - 48 hours. Booking was direct and simple, paying for the days we stayed was also handled with no problem. The house itself is great. It's clean, has three bedrooms with plenty of beds to go around. Two bathrooms upstairs, one jack and jill, the other one in the master bedroom and another one in the main living room area. All very clean and also a great linen closet with tons of clean towels. There's also a small patio on the outside for hanging out in the cool San Fran evenings. The living room area is huge, with huge windows for that cool San Francisco breeze, dining room and kitchen with breakfast table. Location: we were in an amazing location, I could not have asked for anything better. Near the marina, near great shopping and restaurants on Union St., and near the wedding (which was the most important part). There's also bus lines that will get you pretty much anywhere you need to be. Get a MUNI card, trust me. So location gets a +++. Trust me, in the four days we were there, we went pretty much ALL over the city and it was never a big deal, we just hopped on a bus, walked (yes, there are hills, big surprise, haha) or took a short taxi ride (always less than a $10 ride). The property manager was SUPER accommodating working with us and our reservation. It was nice to have her as our guide (she sent us emails with coupons, good deals, and recommendations on what to do before we got there, that was a nice touch). If you bring a car or TWO into the San Fran area, then this place has TWO garage parking spaces that you can use. We didn't bring a car, but that would be a huge plus if you rent a car, particularly because it's so difficult to park in San Francisco. Finally, the only thing I would count as a negative would be tthe decor in the house was super dated and the pillows/blankets need some updating. It's not a huge deal but it's worth mentioning if you care about those things. For us, it wasn't a big deal because we were hardly in the house. Anyway, awesome place! Rent it! Enjoy it :)
