Well-appointed and impeccably groomed Hyannis rental perfectly suited for multi-family and/or group vacations. Large backyard is fenced in - great for children - and provides significant privacy. Backyard also has a gigantic outdoor deck with ocean views, as well as a covered patio area. Location is second-to-none in the Barnstable area. Veterans Beach & Lewis Bay located across the street with playground for children. Kalmus Beach which is renowned for its wind surfing is a 1/3 of a mile walk from the house. Half a mile walk to Island Ferries & Hyannis Harbor. Three quarters of a mile walk to Main St shops and restaurants.

Sleeps 13 - 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, in addition to an outdoor shower.

We rented this house for a "family" vacation with our adult children, and grandchildren.

The house was roomy with 4 bedrooms, and a landing area upstairs with a pull out couch. We found it to be large enough that you could always find your own space even with that many people (8 adults, 4 children). The back yard is fenced in and was ideal for the 1 year old babies, so you didn't have to worry about them when they were outside.
It was close enough to downtown, yet far enough away so you didn't feel like you were downtown. The selection of beaches was wonderful. It took us a couple of day's to find the beach we liked best. Even though you had to drive, because of the children, you could have walked to anyone of them.

I hope in a couple of years, when we can all get together again, that this house will be available.

As a group of 8 adult figure skaters in town for the TOI Nation's Cup and National Championships, we were looking for an opportunity to enjoy some of the luxuries of home and not be cramped in hotel rooms for a week. The house was more spacious than we thought from the photos. There was plenty of room for everyone. The marsh behind the house lent itself to privacy while the house is situated close to everything. Walking to the beach, Main Street and the ferry terminals was quick and easy.

This house is awesome! We were looking for a multi-family rental, central location close to beaches/town/activities and this has it all plus a great backyard to play in and an awesome patio deck area to hang out. As mentioned in the other review, there is plenty of room for 3 families with kids and you never feel crowded or tight on space, it has a lot of room and 3.5 baths make it very accomodating. The house is very neat, recently updated inside & out including a cool deck on the second floor that overlooks the marsh & ocean, great for reading the morning paper! You can walk to the ferry docks in less than 10 minutes, downtown, Cape baseball games (1 in 4 play in MLB) at Barnstable High and many beaches. It is also very close to Dennis, Chatham, Orleans and an hour drive to P-town. My wife & I ran everyday along Ocean Drive and ran by the Kennedy Compund, it is amazing. I searched many locations online remotely from Michigan and am so glad we booked this house, we had a blast and hope to return next year!
