Tortuga Sunrise is a beach vacation dream house for the entire family! This spectacular home has 6 BR, 5.5 baths w/ beds/furniture accommodating 17. You will enjoy walking to the beach, the gorgeous ocean view and lighthouse view from this spacious (3700 sq. ft.) and tastefully furnished house. Every amenity has been thoughtfully provided for your vacation pleasure and comfort, including an elevator for access to 3 levels. The Great Room w/entertainment center (46'' LCD HDTV/Blu-ray disc Player/CD/Stereo/iPod Dock), wet bar and the fully-equipped kitchen and dining room are specifically set for large family/friends gatherings. The house is extremely friendly for handicapped with garage, elevator and a MBR/private bath with 3' doors and shower for wheelchair access, shower head/handle, shower chair and toilet frame for handicapped. All beds are bedbug proof. Professionals may appreciate the wireless high-speed Internet and other office amenities to conduct unavoidable business while away from home. The screened porch (top level) is great for any meal or a cool drink while watching the sunset or fireworks (July 4th) and listening to the ocean sound/breeze. The two levels of extensive decking (one open, one covered) w/ table, deck furniture/swing provides plenty of opportunity for relaxing, reading, and sunbathing while enjoying the ocean views/ breeze. Each BR on the top/mid levels is well lit, has TV, ocean views and sliding glass doors to the deck. You will enjoy the 14'x28' private heated pool with adjacent hot tub and outdoor enclosed shower, with direct access to a large recreational room. The rec. room has entertainment center, stereo with i pod dock, DVD player, game amenities, ping-pong, Foosball, and game tables, and refrigerator/freezer. The pool-side picnic table & BBQ grill (gas and charcoal) and nonbreakable ware are provided for outdoor gatherings. There is a 46' LCD HD (1080p) TC with Blu-ray disc player. Each room on the mid and top levels has a sliding door, private access to the deck, and views. All beds are bed-bug proof.

Perfect house for a perfect vaca

Enjoyed a wonderful family vaca with a full house. On arrival, house was nice and clean with ample fridge space. The house is equipped with all the amenities you could need, just pack light and come and enjoy. With the layout of all the large houses on the OBX (kitchen / main areas on the top / 3rd level) the elevator is AWESOME for the coolers / bags of food you bring! Short 5 min walk to the beach, workout center (passes were included) and down the street to the lighthouse / marina (10-15 min walk) where we had some fun crabbing with the children. Stores / fresh veggie stand a short drive away. The top deck is perfect for that morning coffee and sunrise and warm nights. Enjoyed quiet early walks on the beach every morning and even saw some horses. Pool area nice and large and separated by locked fence (little extra bonus with safety). Nice games for the family / kids to play on the lower level.

Owner very nice to work with and responds quickly. Renting this June again...they say they make improvements each year...can't wait to see what's new.

We rented this house for our parents 40th wedding anniversary, and it was wonderful. There were 5 children and 7 adults and there was plenty room. The kitchen had everything we needed for making large dinners and everything was as described. My children loved watching the lighthouse in the evening!! And even if you don't think you will use the elevator..YOU WILL...so much easier than carrying everything up 3 flights of stairs...
I would recommend this house to anyone, and the owner personally called me to make sure everything was OK...nice touch..thanks again!
