This is the PERFECT family house(toddler alarms on all doors). All main rooms on the lower level of the Nantucket-style house face the pool, which provides a calm oasis with sounds of the pool's waterfall right outside the doors. It is also perfect in the winter for those who want to escape the cold of our northern neighbors. A gas fireplace in the living room provides a homey ambiance. One will find a canopy of live oaks throughout the entire plantation. The sun rises over the beautiful Atlantic and sets over the gorgeous marsh on the opposite side.

The home, tastefully furnished and designed for comfort to create the perfect vacation environment, includes: approximately 2,800 SF with 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms; master bedroom on the first floor with a king bed, two reading chairs, new flat screen TV, and a large walk-in closet with iron and ironing board; master bathroom with dual vanities, soaking tub and large separate shower (hair dryers provided); the 2nd bedroom on 2nd floor with two double beds and its own separate bathroom; the 3rd bedroom on second floor with twin beds and its own separate bathroom; living room overlooks the pool with a 36' television with a surround sound system; study/media room and adjacent full bath also overlooks the pool. The study, if needed, has a futon which can be used as a 4th bedroom with adjoining full bath; ceiling fans in living room, study, side porch and all bedrooms; whole house sound including speakers on the lanai and around the pool; fully equipped gourmet kitchen with bar; dining room with table that seats 8 people; large laundry room with washer, dryer and laundry sink; separate outdoor shower; pool with privacy fence. Sit on the lanai, relax in the hammock in the arbor or dine poolside while listening to the soothing sounds of music and the waterfall. On the opposite side of the house close to the kitchen is another private courtyard for grilling on the gas grill. All linens and beach towels are included.

Also provided are a strap-in highchair / booster seat, & pac and play. Extremely large master closet off master bedroom can accommodate the pac and play.

New cruiser bikes, child's bike, big wheel, beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogey boards, children's sand and pool toys are also there for your enjoyment. We have recently added a new golf cart. Also added are two kayaks, oars and life vests also for your convenience and enjoyment on Red Maple Lake (just a few yards from the house) and at Walker's Landing.

Amelia Island has recently built a fabulous new 'family bike path' which stretches for miles and miles. Should you need more bikes than we provide, extra bikes are available for rent.

High speed wireless internet is available throughout the house. Two separate working desks are for your convenience, one in rear hall and another in the study which may be closed off for privacy.

A new addition to the Plantation is a miniature golf course. Segway tours are available (really fun!). Pamper yourself at the Spa, have lunch and ice cream by the pond at Marche Burrett, enjoy the new Pizzeria, nature center, wonderful shopping and PLAE--our favorite restaurant...all in the Village within walking distance. The newly renovated Veranda is two blocks from the house.
