This property was exactly as advertised. Well maintained, very clean and charming.
The owners provided detail info on the property and how to reach them in case we did occur a problem.

A Wonderful House!

This was our 3rd vacation rental in RI, and by far, our best. The house was fully stocked, and the owners go above and beyond to add details and amenities to enhance your stay. The property feels like "home away from home", and is very cheery and comfortable. It is exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. You will feel like a "guest" and not like a "renter". Close proximity to Scarborough and Roger Wheeler beaches, as well as family fun: kayaking, mini golf, restaurants, etc. The ideal spot!
Charming Beach Rental

This was our first rental experience. The house was exactly as advertised. It was not only beautifully decorated but all of the furniture/mattresses were extremely comfortable. The whole property was spotless. The ceiling fans in all of the rooms kept the house cool. It never felt damp like some places can close to the beach. We had A/C in the master which was wonderful. The only surprises were good ones - a cooler on wheels available for the beach, kitchen towels were provided, brochures for area attractions/restaurants and some novels. The backyard/deck area is extremely private. There are beautiful mature flowering bushes. They obviously really care about this home.
We were a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The walk to the beach is just less than a mile but you do have to cross a 4 lane busy road - Rt 108 (there is a light with crossing light). The house is far enough off of the main road that we never heard traffic sounds. Scarborough Beach is one of the nicest we have ever been to.
The house had everything we needed and then some. The owners are very communicative and when I checked in with previous renters, there were nothing but rave reviews. Now we know why! You can't go wrong with this rental.

We had a wonderful week at "Summer Break". It had all the amenities of home. Very clean and well maintained. Our family enjoyed the great location and would definitely like to rent this house again someday! The owners were great to work with and were always very accessible with any questions, etc.

Summer Break was the perfect cottage for a small family. My husband, daughter and I had the pleasure of renting this immaculate cottage. All the comforts of "home". We ate dinner on the deck every night and enjoyed the beautiful yard. I would highly recommend staying at Summer Break for your summer vacation at the beach!.

We have had the privledge to stay at Summer Break for the past 4 summers. My family and I are very comfortable at the house. We feel like we are coming "home". The decor is cheerful and the kitchen has many little extras. The RI beaches are not only fun but very clean. Enjoy your stay!

Our family had a delightful, two-week stay at this impeccable cottage. We loved the privacy afforded us by the fragrant foliage surrounding the rather spacious back yard. Ceiling fans in each room kept us cool on very hot days and evenings. The house is beautifully decorated and clean. Every entity in the kitchen is brand new. Considering the length of our stay, the washer and dryer came in quite handy as we didn't need to pack so many clothes. Scarborough Beach is beautifully maintained and lovely. I truly appreciated that the house was close to the beach and the area in general was not overly crowded. The only thing one cannot bank upon with this scenario is the weather! We hope to make our stay in this home a summer tradition for years to come!
