About Eric Hartman

We are Eric and Diane and have lived together in a 1790's farmhouse on our Lamoine property for 10 years. The cottage was built in 2005. We both work locally, Diane is a nurse mid-wife at our local hospital and Eric is a tennis teaching professional. We love to hike, kayak and garden in the summer months.

Why Eric Hartman chose Lamoine

We love our cottage in the woods and spend many nights there when we can. A great friend of ours built the cottage with lumber from our property and there is a lot of love built in. Our home and the cottage are located on a large piece of undeveloped land that has been in Eric's family for 40 years.

If it is living close to nature that you like...Its Perfect. A great cottage for a single or a couple, its only one room with a loft. I spent early morning admiring the post and beam work from my bed. True craftsmanship! The front porch is screened in- spent late mornings meditating and doing yoga, bug-free, with a view of the forest. Evenings, had candlelight dinners with friends. There are bike and walking trails behind the house. Good spot for painting, reading, writing too. Near to a swimming lake. A beautiful spot for rest and relaxation. You aren't really secluded, you are near a quiet street, but it feels like you are because the cottage is set back in the trees. Oh Lovely Maine! Sap Greens and Colbolt Blues. Can't wait to return.
