Awesome time had by all

We never rented a vacation home before and we were very leery at first. Dawn made the transaction very easy for us to do and we would definitely rent from her again in the future. Her directions to the cabin were perfect and without them we would have been lost. Their cabin is very nice and homey and it made it even nicer being able to enjoy it with our two Chihuahuas. We love being able to take them on our journeys. The write up and pictures of the cabin are exactly as described. Property offers a great view of the mountains. It was even more beautiful as we got to see it during a snow fall. Then to top it off we had 7 deer and 6 turkey come to visit us right out of the bedroom window. That made the trip a great experience for all. My son and his two friends enjoyed playing darts and lots of games on the pool table and hanging out on the loft. They even got to go sledding down the hill on the communities ski slope. We wanted to try the restaurant at the top of the hill, but did not get a chance to go there. Maybe next time. On our last day we had the pleasure of meeting one of the cleaning ladies. She was extremely nice and was doing a great job making the cabin ready for the next guest. We did not want to leave. We will definitely be returning again next year.

Well-maintained cabin, beatiful place all around

The cabin looks a bit aged from the outside, but seems well-maintained inside. Everything was working as promised, I have no word of complaint. Description is accurate and Dawn was a great help to get everything go smooth, even though we are the first time renters. The place is absolutely beautiful, just minutes from Shawnee Ski Area and other attractions. The complementary fireplace wood was a nice addition and we spent quite some time enjoying the fireplace. Overall we've had a great time there and I do recommend it to anyone who want to enjoy winter fun in Poconos

GREAT TIME LOTS OF FUN PLENTY TO DO

OUR STAY AT THE HOUSE WAS GREAT. IT WAS A WEEKEND AWAY AFTER THE TIRING HOLIDAYS TO RELAX. THE HOUSE WAS SPACIOUS AND CLEAN AND WELLMAINTAINED. FIREPLACE GAVE WARMTH TO THE ENTIRE HOUSE. THERE WERE MANY NEARBY ACTIVITIES THAT KEPT US BUSY. THE DEER OUTSIDE WERE SUPER FRIENDLY. WE BROUGHT APPLES WITH US TO FEED THEM. THEY WOULD CME RIGHT UP TO YOU AND EAT OUT OF YOUR HAND. THE OWNERS DAWN AND ERIC WERE HELPFUL AND VERY RESPINSIVE WHEN WE HAD QUESTIONS. DEFINATLEY RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE AND WILL RENT AGAIN

Clean, comfortable and centrally located

My husband, teenage daughter and I rented this home for 6 days this summer and had an awesome time. The house was clean and the furniture and beds were very comfortable. TV and wifi all worked well. Appliances and baths are a bit dated but worked fine - typical for a vacation home. The owners were responsive and gave us all needed info.
We hiked and kayaked all over the park taking in the beautiful waterfalls and trails. Visit the Park Visitors Center first to get recommendations - it will save you alot of time and allow you to see the best stuff!
We rented kayaks from Kittatinny Canoes and enjoyed that very much. If you love Mexican food like we do, try the Black Bear Cafe in Milford - authentic and awesome!
We used the pool and fitness center in Sawcreek which was a nice bonus when we had a some time to relax.

Our visit was the 4th of July week so the fireworks at Lake Wallenpaupack HS was very good & stopped to take a picture of a large black bear in the road on the way. Canoe Day Trip on the Delaware River refreshing for a hot day, Bushkill Falls Hiking, Trout Fishing in Area Streams and vsiiting Callies Candy Kitchen & Pretzel Factory in Mountain Home, PA a "must" for your to do list. Lots of shade, quiet, relaxing & of course wildlife everywhere. The chalet & accomodaions are everything as advertised and thanks to Dawn & Eric Masure for insight and assistance. You & your dog will enjoy a long walk in the neighborhood late in the day. Book it!

Great Time !!!

My wife and our best friends took the cabin between Christmas and New Year. We had a blast. The beds were warm and comfy, the fireplace and free wood added great ambiance at night. Everything was as promised. All supplies were available as advertised. We cooked in 3 of the 4 nights and the kitchen served us well. The heated porch w/ pool table and dart board got alot of use. The Hot Tub was so nice that my wife is making me buy one for our deck. Eric and Dawn are great communicators and we will be back next year. Thanks for a wonderful setting for our getaway.

We had a wonderful time. The chalet was clean and very roomy. We enjoyed the fireplace and the activity room i.e. Pool table and dart board. The chalet is tucked away in the woods so you can have privacy as well as enjoy the wildlife. We saw deer every day and the first day we arrived they came right up to us as if to say 'welcome!'.

Amazing weekend, amazing location.

Thank you Eric and Dawn for providing myself and my guests with such a great cabin for our mini-vacation! We had an amazing time enjoying the pool table, the fireplace, the spacious bedrooms, and the great views from the deck. From the moment we arrived we started having a great time and it didnt end until we left. We will most definitely be back, as we all were already planning a return trip while still there!

Eric and Dawn I just wanted to thank you so much. The place is great has plenty of space as stated to sleep up to 12 people 2 per available bed. Our whole entire family enjoyed it. The hot tub was great even though we used it during the winter and the pool table kept kids and adults entertain :) Thanks to Saw Creek the kids had a great time in the indoor amenities. Dawn and Eric made sure we would have a great time and they had a great communication with us. For us it snowed, allowing us to ski more comfortably... WE LOVED IT! Will do again, only adults though :)

We had a wonderful time here and would recommend it to everyone. The home owners are gracious and helpful and the house is comfortable and quiet. We loved feeding the deer every day and seeing them. The hot tub is wonderful even on cold days. We appreciated the home very much and were grateful they were pet friendly! This is the place to stay if you want a relaxing and fun home in the beautiful mountains! We would definitely use it again.
