What a great house! Cozy, clean, spacious and well equipped! We loved everything especially the kayacks. The kids loved the deer coming right up to the deck to say hello. The grown ups loved the screened porch and the deck for playing games and conversation. We can't wait till we can come again. Thank-you Aggie for making it one of our best vaca's.

Let me first say that the process of renting very simple. Everything was completed by email and there were no issues whatsoever. In fact, the first time I actually spoke to the owners was a 'welcoming' phone call when we arrived.

The house is very clean, nicely decorated and perfect for our 3 families (6 Adults and 2 infants). The deer in the house and outside (there are deer everywhere around the property!) was a big hit for the 2 year old. The kitchen was a great size with everything we needed and the living room was the perfect size for night games and conversation. The dining room table was perfect for the card games. Downstairs had a pool table, air hockey and ping pong; we only played ping pong, which was fun but didnt go downstairs much. There were also kayaks that we didnt use but will next time.
Grampa liked it so much he said he wants to do this again next year at the same house but stay longer to enjoy all the amenties of the Hideout.

My stay at the Schmidt's house was great. My family and I enjoyed everything from the gas grill and deck to the playroom and the screen room. The house was in great shape and didn’t need any cleaning once we got there. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans dishes and silverware. Aggie was a pleasure. I had a couple of problems with planning the trip and she was very helpful and patient. My family and I will be renting their home again very soon. Thanks for everything Aggie.

"We stayed at the Hideout for three nights, and absolutely enjoyed our time at this cozy house! The description was accurate: the house is clean, well-maintained and literally has everything you need. The owner (Aggie) was a pleasure to deal with, courteous and efficient.
The community where house is located is a true gem: safe, quiet, and offers lots of activities (pool, tennis, lake, deer watching, ). If however, you prefer staying indoors, billiard and table tennis, wii and air hockey await for you downstairs.
All in all, I deff recommend this house, and we are planning to return there some time later in the year".

The "Hideout" was a wonderful getaway from the daily grind. My family and I spent a great weekend. It has all the comforts of home with the space and privacy of a cabin retreat. We loved the spacious 4 bedrooms and fully stacked kitchen. The game-room was a hit with the kids. I highly recomment it to any family looking to getaway.

the house was clean and comfortable. Loved the kitchen. the rooms are very large and clean. the game room provided hours of fun for everyone includong my 2 1/2 yr old grandaughter. If you appreciate nature you will enjoy waking up to deer walking around outside. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We will be looking forward to another week spent here in the future.

This is a great house! Everybody in my group absolutely loved it! Master bedroom is huge. All other bedrooms are also nice sized. Spacious updated kitchen and stocked up game room!
The hosts are very nice. All our instructions were very clear. We also got a call upon our arrival to make sure that everything was ok!
Schmidts' house will be on top of our list when we plan our next poconos trip.

5 of us came up for a weekend away from the city and we couldn't have asked for a better home. The Schmidt's home is clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, and all around pleasant. The game room was a big hit with our group; pool, air hockey, and board games were being played on a non stop basis. The kitchen amenities were great - everything you need to prepare meals, or just chill out. All of the flatware, plate sets and glasses, etc are modern and upscale. The shower temperature was more than perfect, the heat worked perfectly, and even if it hadn't, the linens provided were so warm and cozy that it wouldn't have mattered much. We are looking forward to coming back to stay at this house again in the future, possibly in the summer seeing as we saw two kayaks seem to be available. -- On site amenities were great - We hit the clubhouse our first night and enjoyed some karaoke and super affordable drink prices, as well as some of the best onion rings in the entire universe. On Saturday we snow tubed and skied. Skiing was super affordable and the lift was of decent incline. The community is beautiful - and we are not the only ones who think so; deer are EVERYWHERE which is a nice treat for city-folk. All in all, the weekend was amazing. We highly suggest you consider this home for your vacation needs - You'll have everything you could possibly need for a great time, and you'll be in a CLEAN environment.
