A vacation spot like this comes along once in a BLUE MOON! Accessed by water taxi from Marsh Harbour, Blue Moon Cottage was the first school house built in White Sound on Elbow Cay. It has been renovated into a bright Two Bedroom, Bahamian beach cottage.

The Master bedroom has a king-size bed with a private sink and daybed, connecting to a large bathroom with a newly tiled shower. It has a private door leading to an east facing deck and an upper flying deck.

The guest room has a queen bed and it's own private door to the upper and lower East deck.

You will find the kitchen well equipped along with a gas grill outside overlooking the Abaco sea.. and an outside dining area in the breezeway has a fun mural painted on the wall.

We also have a wonderful outside shower with hot and cold water and a view of the abaco sea.

Watch the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean and set over the Abaco Sea from the Flying Deck. Enjoy 360 views and wonderful breeze. The best place around for a morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail!

A shallow water boat dock is availble a few yards away with reservation.

There are lots of games, books and music to keep yourself busy if you find yourself indoors.

When you visit Hopetown and Blue Moon Cottage, you will immediately relax. From the oversized sliding glass doors in the living area you can view the beautiful Abaco Sea and feel the fresh breeze from the Atlantic ocean.. (both just feet away) from our two large decks.

Relax in hammocks and comfortable deck furniture. There is no hustle and bustle. No crazy schedules. Rent a golf cart or boat to explore the island and waters or just hang out at your home away from home!

Blue Moon is across a small golf cart size road from the Abaco Inn where you will find a first class restaurant/pool and the locals favorite bar. Down the tiny road south, is Sea Spray Marina, with docks and outside restaurant/ bar. It is open for for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is a nice place to just hang out after a big day at the beach or boating.

The new Firefly resort is just a short golf cart ride away.. A great place to hang out and enjoy the pool and bar.

Just got back from 1 week at Blue Moon in Hope Town on 1/1/2011. The house is very clean and nice with lots of things to do. We enjoyed grilling fish on the gas grill, walking acorss the street to the beach and the Abaco Inn. The people in Hope Town are very friendly and helpful. The water was so blue and warm. Tahatti beach is very close and we had fun going there and looking for shells. The kids enjoyed snorkeling and we rented a boat and saw dolphins. We went to Pete's Pub on Lubber's and Cracker P's on Abaco Island for lunch. We also went to Man-O-War for lunch one day. The lighthouse on HopeTown is really fun. Just go and enjoy! The water and reef are beautiful and so is Blue Moon.

Wonderful Cottage by the Sea.Spacious Living Area. Ideal for a Couple. Everything you need in a vacation home.Very friendly & helpful Owner.Views of the Abaco Sea/White Sound.Has dock & 3 porches.Great location down the street from Abaco Inn (good food,bar,entertainment & use of their pool overlooking the Atlantic) Locals are so friendly and accommodating. Rent a boat to see all the close by islands & beaches. Don't miss Tahiti Beach. Cracker P's is great for lunch (across from Tahiti Beach) Local grocery LVA's has everything u need.Wonderful experience of 10 glorious days of Sunshine & Sand. No complaints only Good Memories.I'll return to the Abaco's For Sure.

Blue Moon is a wounderful home away from home. My family had a super vaction on one of the Best Islands in the Abacos. It is close to the beach with easy access to the dock. Resturants are nearby and sometimes have great entertainment. We snorkled daily at nearby reefs! The protected shallow coral reefs of the Abacos are amazing and full of wildlife. There are several world class surf breaks a short walk from the cottage with surf almost year round. Nearby Hope Town is a quaint little town reminisce of a New England fishing village. Its light house is an icon of the Abacos & Bahamas. I am sure we will be back year after year!

A wonderful relaxing retreat from day to day stress. The cottage was warm and inviting, the views from the deck made a wonderful happy hour spot; when we weren't down at Sea Spray meeting some of the very friendly Island locals. The water is to die for blue and the sand as soft as velvet!! I highly recommend a week at Blue Moon!!
