A very bad experience
My sister and I rented this apartment, and had a truly awful experience!
We also book transfer from the airport, since we were to arrive late. But the driver never showed up, and when we called him, he told us the car was broke, so he could not come.
Arriving at the apartment, we were met by a friendly employee who asked us to sign a contract stating a balance of 2/3 the rental, all though we already paid in full.
Immediately after he left, we discovered the sheets had not been changed – they were damp, wrinkled and covered with hair. A closer look at the bathroom revealed a full trashbin.
We instantly called the owner to ask for clean sheets. His reply was that he could do nothing until next day - no clean sheets, no alternative accommodation, nothing! Even though he also told us, that he runs a professional company with more than 30 vacation rentals in Rome.
We clearly told him, that we could not stay in the apartment, if we were not provided with clean sheets.
We luckily succeeded in finding another place to stay, although it was by that time midnight. Next day we spoke to the owner, who offered us to move back; he had then cheked the apartment and changed the sheets.
When we declined the answer was a 30 % charge for administration costs!
We strongly advise against renting this apartment: If anything goes wrong, you're on your own - and you will be charged shamelessly for no service at all!

We are really sad to hear such a misleading story from you. We had organized everything for your late check-in. The designated driver had a problem and you didn’t want to wait for the next one, Francesco has been waiting for you until late at the apartment which was ready and clean. When you arrived you were already upset about the misunderstanding of the driver and wanted to change apartment but of course we couldn’t prepare another apartment for you at that time in the night. Therefore you decided to go somewhere else, the day after we checked the apartment early in the morning and it was clean and ready for you. We have then repeated you that the apartment was prepared and at your disposal until the end of the sojourn that you had paid in advance, but you decided to stay in another accommodation anyways and then asked us for a full refund. After your departure we have refunded you with 70% of the total amount, we kept the 30% as it is clearly stated on our cancellation policy. Again, the apartment was clean, ready and at your disposal but you decided to stay somewhere else. All our efforts are always concentrated on giving a high quality service to our guests, we accommodate hundreds of persons each month in our apartments and all of them are happy and satisfied as you can see from the nice reviews we collect.
