Bravo for the Black Bear!!!

My family and I had a wonderful vacation in Waterville Valley – we visited just before the start of the summer season. We stayed this loft unit at the Black Bear Lodge. The unit is set up and large enough for a family to be comfortable and relaxed. It was clean and orderly - with a kitchen stocked with enough dishes, pots and pans so we could cook in when we wanted to. We enjoyed BBL the pool and the 2nd story patio everyday of our stay. The staff in BBL lobby were pleasant and informative. We left our laptops home but could check our email in the lobby. We are not really hikers but during the long walks we took on the easy trails of the valley, we saw all kinds of song birds – it was just magical as the yellow and black tiger butter flies were everywhere in the deep green of the woods. The owners were great, very good people to do business with.

We had a great vacation while staying in the loft unit at Black Bear Lodge. We have been to Waterville Valley several times, but this is the first time staying in this unit. The location of the lodge was close enough to walk to Town Square, playground, etc. Although, we were staying during the quiet period and there was not much going on at the resort area itself, there were plenty of things to do in the surrounding areas. The property was well maintained (clean, comfortable) and spacious. Our family had plenty of room for relaxing. The ownders were easy to communicate with and were prompt with any information we needed! I would definately recommend this property to a friend.

We had a wonderful time at Olga and Vlad's condo at the Black Bear Lodge! We had plenty of room for all of us - including the five kids! Our youngest loved sleeping in the "drawer" (the bottom of the trundle bed!). The staff at the Black Bear Lodge was very friendly and helpful. We even had a rainy day during our visit, but that didn't spoil the fun - we simply did some fishing in the pond and enjoyed swimming in the indoor/outdoor pool. Super fun!

Waterville Valley is a fabulous summer vacation destination. It has everything from swimming, fishing, biking and hiking to simply relaxing in the sun. And, there's no better way to enjoy it than from the comfort of this wonderful, spacious, nicely equipped condo. The AC and fans were perfect for hot summer days, and the extensive collection of DVDs and videos was wonderful for cozy nights on the couch. Additionally, the Waterville Recreation Department hosts some excellent events for the kids. We loved the Family Bingo Night!

Thank you so much! My Family loved the black bear lodge especially the condo unit that we stayed in. The kids thought that it was so cool to have a room with a window in it that they could look down into the living room. The room was so accommodating for a family. There was plenty of room and the kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool. The location of the Black Bear Lodge is fantastic too. EVERYTHING is within walking distance even the chair lift up the mountain for hiking! I would highly recommend this unit for any sized family. Thank you again, we had a great fathers day weekend.

My two daughters and I stayed at the condo during April
and absolutely loved the ability to use the indoor/outdoor pool, as
well as the fitness room at the Black Bear. The condo unit itself was
great. We used the kitchen to make meals since many of the restaurants
are closed this time of year and my girls loved the room they were
sleeping in. In addition, it was nice to have a comfy place to come
back
to stay after hiking all day. We would love to go again! Thanks,

This two bedroom condo was fantastic for our family of five with the second bedroom having a full size futon (for teenage boy) and two twins (trundle bed). There is also a Murphy bed in the living room for two more people. The air conditioning and multitude of fans were absolutely necessary the week we stayed, because it was in the 90's! People staying at non-Black Bear Condos in the Valley were complaining about how they couldn't sleep because it was so hot and humid - but we were fine! Olga and Vladimir's video and DVD collection is wonderful - lots of Award winnning shows! Our boys were attending the Waterville Valley Skateboard Camp, and an added bonus was that we could see the skateboard park from the 2nd floor and it was just a short walk for them to get get there. (But we were far enough away that it was nice and quiet) We would definitely rent this condo again - in the summer or winter time!

We stayed at Vlad & Olga's condo this past weekend and had a great time. It was our second time renting their unit and would highly recommend it to others. The place is nicely kept, has plenty of room and is reasonably priced. The Waterville area is beautiful and has plenty to do. We will definitely be visiting again.

It is the second time we rented this condo from Vladimir and Olga and we lowed it. The booking was easy, amenities are great, hot tub was HOT and the indoor pool was refreshing. The unit is neat and clean with plenty of room for six. In addition to the decent collection of videos, premium cable and internet access this unit has a magnificent view from the window. We will definitely visit again.
