Truly a vacation home by the coast

We have been in many vacation homes thru CA, but never been one this clean, spacious, and well furnished with all kinds of amendities . It shows the Thompsons' (owners) and Patty's (caretaker) -- pride and attention to details. Everyone in our group, adults and teenagers had a great time.

The only thing I could comment for the lesser is the relative lack of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Luxurious home with awesome ocean views

My husband and I booked this house for a long weekend (4 days) instantly fell in love with the panoramic views this beautiful home has to offer. We immediately extended our stay one more day (would have extended for a week but we had other business obligations). The most luxurious, spacious home we have rented. Stocked with EVERYTHING that you could possible need. If you want a place to relax, enjoy the ocean views and seclusion this is the place.

We enjoyed reading, watching old movies (over 100 DVD's available for viewing), deep sea fishing (marina is less than a mile from the house) and preparing meals in the gourmet kitchen. The wireless internet feature was a big plus.

Patty, the house caretaker, was kind and very helpful.

Next time we will definitely stay longer there were so many things we did not get to do. Picnic at Black Sands Beach. Golfing at the 9 hole golf course. More days deep sea fishing, reading, enjoying the spectacular ocean views.......

Just stunning

After our first day here we are simply overwhelmed: the Black Sand beach, the seals, countless birds, the passiflora covering the garden, the deer with two babies just walking by, the dark starry night, the peace and quiet and the constant background sound of the mighty Pacific. The house itself is beyond anything we have ever stayed in -- incredibly luxurious, big, spacious, super-clean, every facility you could need -- including very fast wifi. Baths the size of a hotel suite, table tennis, pool. And then, of course, all this in the company of people you really like. The only one missing is you! Next time we come for two weeks.

Beautiful home with spectacular ocean view

We spent a 3-day long weekend in this beautiful ocean view house. The panoramic windows and nice open deck provide unobstructed ocean view throughout the house. We enjoyed our breakfasts with spectacular view every morning. There is a huge kitchen with everything you would expect to see in a gourmet kitchen.

When we were not out hiking or sitting on the deck, there is a big flat screen TV with big collection of DVD movies to choose from. There is also a pool table, ping-pong table, dartboard and plenty of kid toys to keep everyone entertained.

Our house caretaker, Patty, is very helpful and courteous. The house is meticulously maintained and stocked with plenty of towels and blankets. We totally enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house.
