Spring and summer are great times to visit the Adirondacks. Much of our summer availability is already booked, but look at our calendar and see if your schedule matches what remains of ours. Hiking and kayaking are right at the door. The local paper recently had photos of folks enjoying a rafting trip with one of the nearby outfitters. We would love to have you as guests.
Fall and winter are great times to be in the Adirondacks, too. If your schedule permits, consider a stay at that time.

Boat Ramp and Fishing: Wells has a free public boat ramp on Algonquin Drive. Bring your boat, put it in the water at the ramp and tie it up to the dock at the house for the length of your stay. The lake has yellow perch, sunfish, bass, nice chain pickerel, and northern pike. You can also go up the river which feeds the lake for more fishing. The water is about four feet deep at the end of the dock. Each evening one or two local anglers will drift by hoping to catch that big one.
