Lake Wallenpaupack retreat

What a fantastic house and view of the lake! We also own vacation rental homes and appreciate all the extra care that Jack and Karen did with this house!
We celebrated my Mom's 85th birthday and rarely left the house because it was so relaxing there...we watched a family of canada geese swim by the dock, listened to the birds in the morning and watched the deer in the evening...would highly recommend it for an ideal lake vacation!

I rented this Chalet on the second week of January of 2009 with couple of my friends. We left on friday nite and were all exausted BUT!!! when my friends went inside of the chalet they could not help themselves from screaming.
It was beautiful!!
and the kitchen could not be more prepared with all the neccessary kitchenettes and PLUS.
The only part of it was it started to snow when we first arrived and had to leave on saturday nite although we rented it for the whole weekend.
Definitely go here again for my next trip to the poconos

My sisters and I stayed here for the weekend of Jan 23, and we can't say enough great things about this place. A strong recommendation to stay, they had every amenity you need, even though we over packed and brought our own. The owners were pleasant to deal with, and the location was great. Don't bring any movies or cds they have it all seriously, the views were priceless. love it love it love it, we are definetly coming back, and i can't wait.

We rented this house for 5 days for a New Year celebration. This house is great! Very warm, lots of light cozy and clean. We had no problems with anything in the house, everything worked perfectly. The view of the lake from the house is amazing all day long. The community where the house is is very quite and private which makes it a great get away place. We would definitely recommend this house to our friends for renting and we also would consider renting it again!

This home has all of the things you could possible want. The set up is warm and welcoming, and the view of Lake Wallenpaupack is one of a kind. From boating and fishing to sitting by the fire, all were great memories.

I can not begin to say enough about this property. It is exactly what a busy family needs in the Winter Season. Peace & Fun. Our family went snowtubing/iceskating/shopping/Dining. In the summer I heard it is full of fun action and even more beauty. But, whatever season you go the view is spectacular. The home is decorated like it is your home. The owner's are so friendly and helpful. My family consists of 4 young children. They have a game room in the basement (that gave Mom and Dad a actual vacation).
Well thank you for giving my world of busy craziness a bit of sanity.

We stayed a week in August 2005. It felt like staying at a friend's house rather than a rental. Everything is so nicely adorned. The property is lovely, and the location on the lake is optimal as they are on a quiet cove.

Rented in spring 2005 and loved it. House is great and owners are fantastic to work with!
