The layout, d├ęcor and furnishing of this luxury apartment combined with its near perfect and convenient beach front location make it an ideal choice for families, couples or travelling singles. The property has 24hr security, monitored electric gate entrance, off-road private parking, elevator, two large beach front pools with sun-lounges and a fully equipped fitness centre/gym. The apartment floor space is a comfortable 1,630 square feet with an ample ocean view balcony. As you enter the apartment from the ground floor there is an access door to the first bedroom with bathroom en-suite with shower and a single vanity (king size or twin beds). The large sliding glass doors of this bedroom open out onto a private tanning area with outdoor seating which leads onto the pool deck and beach front gardens. At the apartment entrance there is a separate access door leading up the stairs to the kitchen and living areas including living room and ocean view balcony and the upper bedroom with bathroom en-suite with shower and single vanity (king size bed). The split-storey layout of this apartment provides an added level privacy between parents and kids or couples. The Italian design kitchen upstairs is fully equipped and also includes laundry facilities. The view from the open plan kitchen and living areas is the stunning blues and turquoise of the Caribbean Sea through the ocean view balcony which is tastefully furnished for outdoors dining or relaxing. All indoor areas are air-conditioned and also have ceiling fans. The apartment has a telephone (local calls), wireless internet and flat screen Cable TV. The property is a well laid-out 54-apartment complex with excellent facilities spread over three separate ocean facing buildings and was designed by renowned architect Ian Morrison. Opened in 2009 it benefits from over 370 feet of beach front which extends and expands onto the popular Dover Beach with its white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters. The location of the property very near St Lawrence Gap or The Gap provides a level of convenience few other properties offer as many shopping, dining, entertainment and activity options are within easy walking distance. As a result, guests staying here do not require a vehicle to access much of what visitors require such as banking and dining to grocery facilities and more. The islands famous Oistins area is a 10 minute drive or bus ride away (US$1.00) and is famous for local fresh seafood cooked as you watch in an ocean view outdoors setting with many bars, craft on sale, music and much more. This area also has a full size supermarket, petrol station, ATM and gift and other gift shops Popular with both locals and visitors alike and especially lively on weekends. The 3bdrm apartments occupy the second through to the fifth floors and are single floor units. The master and 1st guest bdrm have bathrooms en-suite with shower, granite counter tops, double vanity and rain-style shower heads. The 2nd guest bdrm has access to an adjacent full guest bathroom with single vanity and tub/shower. All the bdrms have large walk-in storage closets. Enter the apartment and you pass separate access doors to both guest bdrms on the right/left and then the guest bathroom after which you enter the open-plan kitchen and living room areas which have an ocean view through the large sliding glass doors to the balcony. The Italian kitchen is fully equipped and includes laundry facilities. Closer to the ocean view balcony access on the beach-side of the building you will find the access door to the master bedroom. The clever layout of these apartments affords the master bedroom an ocean view and private direct access through glass sliding doors to the balcony.

Breathtaking views! Beautiful Condo!

We rent condos all the time and this is truly a wonderful condo. The apartment is on the 3rd floor overlooking both the pool and the beach. You would be hard pressed to find a more picture perfect view. The condo property is gated and very clean. The beach is gorgeous and although you have to pay for the beach chairs, the service and security that Kenny provides is well worth it. We were not hounded at all by any beach vendors. We even rented Jetskis on the beach and the vendors were very helpful and nice, he didn't even take our money until after we returned to the beach.
Albert was wonderful. He met us at the condo upon arrival and showed us everything we needed to know. He also introduced us to Barbara the manager. The apartment has 3 bedrooms with 2 of them being master bedrooms. There are also 3 bathrooms.There is an amazing amount of living space in the condo with its big closets, big screen tvs and big bathrooms you never feel crowded. The balcony is to die for! The kitchen is well equipped and there is a small grocery story a few minutes away.
You also have your own parking spot inside the gate, which again made the property feel very safe. We rented a car for a few days and it was great to be able to slip right into our parking spot.
The resort did not feel crowded at all. It seems ideal for couples and families and although there is no restaurant on-site, there are several beach bars within a few feet of your chair on the beach. There is also a restaurant right next door at Southern Palms. We walked to the gap most nights for dinner. The walk at night may seem a little intimidating but we felt safe, just use common sense.
It is really in a great location and we will be returning. By the way, we are a family of four adults, daughter 19 and son 22 and we all loved this place and would highly recommend it.

WOW...what a great condo, great beach, great owner and great country. We booked this condo on the advice of a friend who also stayed there...what a great place...Albert and his property management team will make sure your vacation is perfect. Located on just East of the Gap, its quiet, lots of shops and amenities, beach is 30 seconds out the door.....view is from the balcony is overlooking the Caribbean Sea. This condo has everything you need..3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, washer dryer and more...from the bed in the master bedroom you can see the oceans and hear the waves...we brought our two teenage girls with us and they also had fun...|The condo is on the world famous Dover beach, the swimming is great, always a breeze off the ocean and the people are so friendly.
Going to Barbados and staying here should be on everyone's bucket list!

We are a Canadian family of 4 our girls are 11 & 12. There are so many positives to this condo/location that I am afraid I will leave a very lengthy review. Firstly, the condo was as advertised. Spacious and immaculate, Angela the housekeeper ensured all was tidy & in excellent working order. My husband & I are fitness enthusiasts, the workout room had all the quality equipment required to keep the extra holiday indulgences at bay. We were very impressed with the Jada team of professionals who everyday worked to keep this property beautiful & clean. Laila the concierge was lovely to deal with. This was our first & certainly not last Sapphire rental, Albert was very patient with all questions and made us feel confident with our rental choice.
The location has worked for our family as the girls are soccer enthusiasts & train at a high level in Nova Scotia. It just so happened that the Dover Sports Complex is right in the backyard so to speak of the Sapphire Beach Condos. Every evening the girls would take their soccer ball out to train, & before you knew it, all ages of neighborhood kids would come out to join in the play. That is an experience that the girls will have forever, they made many new friends. In regards to location, so many restaurants within walking distance, and 2 markets close by in the Gap for food & sundry items, though one could jump in a readily available cab & shop in nearby Hastings or Oistins for a larger shop.
The beach was everything we hoped for & the view from our balcony was in a word relaxing. So I almost hate to share this advise, but do not hesitate in booking this amazing condo, if you want to relax & feel looked, after & be part of the island.
A shout out to Kenny who looked after all our beach chair & umbrella needs & to Michael who carted us around to a to b when he could. And thanks again to Albert who was never more than an email or phone call away. Can't wait to be back!!

All You Need at Sapphire Beach

My family of four stayed in this unit in April 2012. The condo is spacious and well laid out. We loved the view from the balcony (pool and beach) and the convenient location. Albert and Leila were so informative (I asked a lot of questions!) and pleasant to deal with. It was our first time to Barbados and we loved the friendly people and great restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place for families, particularly those with younger children as things are very conveniently located.

I celebrated my birthday with 5 of my friends in Barbados. We stayed at the Sapphire Beach Condo on the third floor. The condo space was very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect and it was great to have beach access right outside of our door. There are restaurants and groceries within walking distance. The staff was great and very accommodating to our needs. I would recommend this property.

I only booked Sapphire because a more expensive condo hotel was booked for my travel dates. Lucky me! This was the best thing that could have happened. I really enjoyed the Sapphire it was the perfect location. I stayed in a third floor unit. The condo was beautiful and designed very nicely. I enjoyed not having the cleaning lady come every single day. I really did feel like I was home with all of the amenities. I definitely look forward to returning soon.

This was the 6th time we've been to Barbados 1st in 1999 when we got married and fell in love with it always staying in St Lawrence gap we decided to rent an apartment as it was my 50th birthday and friends were coming we rented a 3 bed on the 3rd floor. It is absolutely beautiful with views of the lovely ocean we are hoping to come back next year as one of our friends will be 50 and his turn to have the master suite which i fell in love with i would recommend to stay here and eat in or out rather than go for all inclusive.

The condo was Beautiful. It was exactly like the photos showed. I loved the view and the easy access to the apartment either using the stairs or elevator. I was traveling with my partial handicapped mother and she had no problem accessing the apartment or bathroom in her room. I liked the fact the the maid only came twice while we were there for the 10 days. It was close to entertainment and grocery shopping. It was a convenient place to be since I have family in Barbados and they were able to come and visit. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Barbados.
