We had a wonderful vacation in your beautiful well kept, very clean home. There was plenty of room for everyone, 9 of us in total. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to have some meals at home. Hot tub was great, the kids really enjoyed it!
We enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the evening and no bugs was a definite plus!
We had a daily visitor sometimes twice a day, come up in the yard... a beautiful deer!!
That was a real treat to watch him. The surrounding area is breathtaking, plenty to do to keep everyone busy and entertained. We would not hesitate to recommend this home to other travelers and would definitely stay again if we visit the area in the future. Thanks Angie and Chris

This is a wonderful, well equipped house in a great location a few miles outside Bar Harbor and close to Acadia National Park. For us it was ideally located--far enough out of town to feel peaceful and secluded, a stone's throw from Acadia and still just a couple of minutes to Bar Harbor.The owners take great care of their property and it is spacious, clean and comfortable. We were traveling with 4 adults and 3
children, and there was plenty of room for all of us.It was wonderful waking up in the morning and having coffee on the deck overlooking the mountains, and just as nice taking in the stars from the hot tub at night.

The owners were extremely accommodating and easy to work with, and our deposit was returned very quickly. Very highly recommended!

We have found the Farmhouse to be a perfect place to spend a family
vacation. The house is beautiful and comfortable and Chris and Angie are
gracious and very informative hosts. The house is centrally located to all
kinds of activities. While we have always had a car, we often park it and
walk, drive or catch the bus for all our activities. Depending on the
family's interest, we have hiked, biked, canoed, swam (it's cold!!),
picniced, star-gazed, whale-watched and attended more Park Ranger programs
than we can count. There truly are activities for all ages. My family looks
forward to returning to this beautiful place and spending time as a family
- looking for new adventures and repeating all our favorite activities.

Our family (2 seniors, 6 young adults, 2 children) enjoyed a delightful week at Acadia National Park to celebrate grandma's 70th birthday. Angie and Chris's house provided a perfect home-away-from-home for us. We also rented the basement apartment so we had plenty of room for all 10 of us. The house is spacious, charming, clean, comfortable, and fun. The location is ideal, and we loved the beautiful view of a natural meadow with Gorham Mountain in the background. The house had every conceivable amenity and provided for all our needs ranging from shampoo to flashlights---even birthday cake candles! The kitchen was fully equipped and the huge pantry was jammed packed with all sorts of goodies. There was also an abundance of books, games and toys for the children. The hot tub and the indoor hammock provided hours of fun. All this reflects Angie and Chris’s generosity and hospitality towards their guests. We felt pampered! In short, we had a wonderful time, and would not hesitate to return to Angie and Chris’s home if we visit Acadia again.

This was our 2nd visit to Mt Desert Island. We had decided to rent the farmhouse because we have 4 children and enjoy accommodations with washer/dryer and kitchen facilities. We found the farmhouse to be well beyond our expectations. The home is beautifully re-modeled, extremely clean and upon entering you feel relaxed and comfortable! Not being the "tourist trap" type of people, we enjoyed the distance from downtown Bar Harbor...far enough to feel secluded and at peace but yet close enough to enjoy the shopping/dining that Bar Harbor has to offer. The location is great for access to Seal Cove, carriage trail bike rides, hiking and just enjoying the beauty that Acadia National Park has to offer. The hot tub was an added bonus following days full of activity and exploration! The home owners were very easy to communicate with in scheduling of the vacation and even offered helpful advice/suggestions as to things to do/see in the immediate area. Directions to the home were provided by the home owner and were detailed and simple to follow. Instructions in the home (how to work appliances/TV, who to call in event of home emergencies, etc...) were clearly displayed in the home. I would definitely recommend this property to friends/relatives! We enjoyed our vacation so much we are considering making Mt Desert Island our annual summer trip and would definitely want to spend it at the farmhouse!
