We (2 parents and 2 children aged 21 and 17) spent a week here in August 2012.

The villa is spacious, modern, very well maintained and immaculately clean.

Dawn was there to welcome us on arrival (11pm!) and was a wonderfully friendly and helpful host, very responsive to all our needs throughout our stay despite being located about an hour's drive away.

The villa easily sleeps 8 as advertised and the swimming pool on the balcony, the brand new pool table indoors, and the barbecue area to the side of the balcony, all made for a really comfortable and relaxing holiday.

The views are superb, with a whole valley spread out at your feet - you can see 10 miles to the sea at Sitges. A gentle breeze comes constantly up the valley, taking the oppressive edge off the summer heat and (we think) keeping all insects at bay - we did not see a single fly or wasp during our stay!!

At night the villa is very quiet and tranquil - we slept wonderfully!

An important detail for a very secluded property is that all the windows are modern, double glazed and fitted with good locks as well as shutters, which means you can lock the property up very securely while you're out.

St Pere De Ribes is a quiet little local town about 10 mins drive away with a couple of decent supermarkets and everything else you might need, particularly if it's a pharmacy, of which there are seemingly dozens.

One small detail to be aware of is that the wifi is in fact a single broadband dongle, which works fine if you only want to connect one PC. It's not, however, wireless coverage for everyone's iPhone, laptop, etc

If you're planning on visiting Barcelona we would recommend a rental car despite it being a rather hairy place to drive. You can park for a full day for about 25 euros in the major city centre car parks, which were never particularly busy even in August.

We'd have no hesitation at all in recommending this property for a relaxing and very comfortable holiday within striking distance of Barcelona.

Villa très confortable, répondant parfaitement à la description. 3 salles de bains, 1 terrasse où l'on peut prendre ses repas dont une au bord de la piscine. Accueil très chaleureux. Situé au dans un parc forestier : calme absolu et fraîcheur. Une adresse que nous recommandons vivement.

We had a wonderful holiday here last year in August with our two small children. The villa and it's setting is absolutely stunning and the villa was well equipped to suit all our needs. A short drive away is the fabulous town of sitges with an amazing sandy beach which all the family loved! A great holiday was had by all and we will definitely return.

The house is very well situated: a very beautiful place where you can see Sitges bay and Vineyard. The road is bumpy but it's not a problem to use all the days. You have the beach (sitges) very near the house, and very beautiful town where you can discover the country. You are near Barcelona and her beautiful coast.
The house is very well equipped and pleasant with a swimming pool (cleaned once a week)you can use at any time. There is a pleasant and quiet garden.
You can have confidence in the owner: the owner provide a good customer service and answer quickly if you have something to ask.
I have already recommend this property to my friends. We and our children have really enjoyed our stay. We have 2 children ( 5 and 8 years old).
