Enjoy the new kitchen and deck. Watch sunsets from the front porch of this comfortable, sunny 6 bedroom Victorian home, located conveniently in the Sunset Hill area of the old Historic District, just a short walk to the town center and 3 ocean beaches. Key features include a whirlpool tub, an old fashioned 4-wheel pedal surrey with a bench seat and fringe on top, and FREE teddy bears for all guests.

'Beary Quaint' contains a large living room with fireplace, dining room with seating for 12, new 2009 kitchen and pantry, den, 6 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. There are sofa beds in the den and living room.

The house includes many adult and children's books and games, stereo with CD, MD, MP3 and cassette, 2 TVs, 2 DVDs and VCR.

The back door leads onto a new deck with charcoal grill. The yard

is completely fenced in with trees, flowering shrubs, picnic table, child's swing, and

outdoor hot and cold shower.

Every guest goes home with a free Teddy Bear!

'Beary Quaint' had its origin as the 19th century life saving station on Muskeget Island off Nantucket's western coast. In 1931, the structure was taken down and moved to its current location. Though the layout of rooms has changed, the original woodwork gives Beary Quaint an older, more Victorian feel. Hardwood floors, lace curtains, patchwork quilts,

quaint wallpaper, stenciled walls, teddy bears, and furniture chosen for comfort make this 6-bedroom home ideal for family gatherings.

8 adults (4 couples) and the associated 5 kids ages 5 and down. This was the perfect house for our family to get together for Thanksgiving. Setup well for kids with 2 highchairs, port-a-cribs and a toy room. Easy walk to town for strolling around. The surrey bike just topped it off! We'll do it again sometime for sure!

I stayed at Beary Quaint in April with 10 other women ranging in ages from 30-60. We stayed for Daffodil Weekend, and had an absolute ball! Can NOT wait to do it again! The house is VERY comfortable, plenty of room to hang out, relax, chat, and get ready for an evening out. With 11 women, you can imagine the shower/bathroom congestion you would have when we're all trying to get pretty for a night out! The sleeping accomodations were great, the backyard was beautiful, and we enjoyed our short walks into town for dinner and shopping! The surrey bike was a riot, and we had a great time taking turns pedaling around the neighborhood, plus we got exercise! None of us had any issues, and we are ALL looking forward to doing in again EVERY year!!
Thanks for a GREAT time Beary Quaint!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Beary Quaint on Nantucket. The house has a great location with a short walk to town and the beach. We loved how the house has historical beauty and all of the amenities you want for a relaxed beach vacation. Having 3 full baths is great and we loved the outdoor shower. One of our favorite Nantucket memories is watching sunsets from the rocking chairs on the front porch. I would definitely recommend this property if you are considering vacationing on Nantucket. It's great for big groups, with lots of space and all the details to make you feel at home.
